what a wierd but awesome game
Was Light playing some kind of DMatrix-free challenge game or something?
DMatrix on the Firebat vs the Hydra/Lurker army at the end would have almost certainly crushed the offensive. In fact, there's many times where DMatrix vs Scourge, DMatrix vs Lurker, or DMatrix Tanks would have saved some of these defenses vs the paltry Zerg Army.
I refuse to believe that all those Sci. Vessels had enough energy for Irradiate but not enough for at least one or two important DMatricies.
The last Soulkey push was like the scene in Patton where Patton lists all the reasons the Germans wouldn't attack and then predicts that's why the will: th-cam.com/users/shortsPudZ1huDzHw And like the Battle of the Ardennes the surprise and ferocity of the attack allowed for major initial gains but in the end the Allies', er uh Terans, overwhelming resources carried the day.
Just for a minute I start to believe in his come back victory
WOW, great game, and great MAP, lol, fits the weather, time of year! haha. Light moved QUICKLY in the beginning. MAYBE too quickly, won't spoil how it ends, but then Soulkey countered in a pretty significant way. His hydra etc army was REALLY resilient in that one large attack, seemed that way......Thanks Falcon!
Soulkey was ver strong this game despite the fact that he had fewer bases and army supply. But his attack was so deadly that we can’t overestimate him. He killed off two Terran bases and almost killing all the production line of Light. What a strong counter attack!
9:50 - it was me 😂. I was like... Why its called "sk"? Whats the "sk" stand for? Maybe The S stand for science vessels but the K? So many questions were unanswered for years until your last video 😂😂.
On a side note, i think the mutalisk meta isnt working anymore because terrans adapted so good and developed so many counters to it. Also, i think ultras are overrated, takes too much time to make one and the mineral/gas is quite high (even when paired with cracklings) - what i think would work better is a mix of lings/hydras with queens/defilers support. Also, your casters should not die so frequently thanks to hydras. BB
Hey Falcon, you have told us several times what does SK terran means. But what about MAC terran?
Mech Terran, short for mechanized Terran. Meaning tank/vulture/goliath, with minimal to no marine/medic. When you see all of the barracks being lifted and sent out for additional map vision, you know they're done making marines/medics and are transitioning into mech.
zerg players trying not to go mutas (impossible challenge), gotta say tho, that ending was an impressive display

But this seriously looks like a good one, review still coming but yeah, that game yesterday was one of the BEST in a WHILE, though there have been other shorter and very good ones of recent, too, of course. 23:50 a few plagues on the barracks and the science facility wouldve been so nice
Plague is so good, and still under utilized in my opinion. The range on plague is insane, and the return of damage over 25 seconds for a measly 75 minerals worth of zerglings is just naaaasty. Also almost nothing infuriates a Terran more than plaguing a group of buildings they've just lifted to move across their base LOL..
@@gasstationpeanuts1814 agreed it's weird that terran buildings hardly ever get plagued that happens mostly if the terran army is close to some building

I totally get where Paladin's love for the desert map is coming from. I only had vanilla Starcraft for several years before getting Brood War so I get it. Still feels new.

He lost his third base early, then again, then the 4th. How exactly did he play better?
The existence of a potential comeback is already proof of playing worse, as there'd be nothing to come back from if you were not already losing.
@@user-iu1ru1qz7u that’s kinda what I thought… if Zerg was worse how could he have almost scrapped a win by? Cause dark swarm is very powerful against Terran especially. I personally feel the 3 races are somewhat balanced… Zerg had dark swarm plague which is op, toss had storm which is op, and Terran has… tanks? Which are op? Or just cheaper units? Idk
