@@lisztcompetition I'm glad this was finally published. I remember emailing Andrea during the pandemic to tell him how much I enjoyed part one, and he was very sweet taking the time to respond. He's still my favorite recording of this collection!
Yes, I love Bonatta's recording of the entire cycle. Still the only one on a "period" piano (and a beautiful instrument it is). So grateful both for Bonatta's wonderful recordings of Liszt's music -- the one of the 6 Consolations is a personal favorite, as is the CD of "late" pieces -- and for these two illuminating lectures!@@tedpiano
