Lots of music and piano teachers ask how to keep student's printed music (the kind you print from a studio licensed piece) from getting dog-eared, wrinkled and lost in their piano student's bags. Here's my favorite way to organize and preserve their printed sheet music.

I risked it and ordered the binding machine for my kids who have their music notes all over the place... and received the kit and the half inch spirals today.. tried it out...very impressed!! No regrets! I can't wait to continue using it and to have my children's sheet music more organized 😊❤

Not quite what I was searching for, which was storage, but as a praise band leader and a crafter this was awesome and I learned quite a few new things! Thanks!

Great! I'm glad it was helpful even if it wasn't what you were originally looking for. Thanks for letting me know!

Have you found a 'holy grail' way to store printed sheet music eventually? I really don't know what to do with mine, none of the ways seem 'easy access', if that makes sense

I use a binder with plastic folders. Available in shops that sell office gear. Easy to rearrange and keeps stains away. I find that sometimes the copies i'm given are a tad sloppy so punching holes might destroy notes.

I've seen all the things you mentioned plus more! It's amazing how certain things seem to happen. :) The worst I've seen was Ramen noodles spilled on one of my students printed songs. Funny thing is she still brought those soggy papers to her lessons. Let's just say we threw that copy away and made a new one. Lol

What if your pieces is three or four pages? And you want to lay the pages out all at once?

Hello! I am very concerned about the discoloration of my sheet music. Could you please advise how to prevent this? If the music has already discolored to the point where the notes are unclear and I can't remember them, how should I go about restoring it? Thank you!

Hi, I'm not sure if I can help you with this with traditional music. If you use ComposeCreate digital music, you can just print the music again. But otherwise, if your music is discolored, it might be time to buy a new print!

Hi Wendy! How do you print the music to put in these books? Double-sided so there are less page turns?

Love the idea. But $100 for the binding system, and a limited 1-year warranty? No thanks.

Purchased sheet music is 9 x 12". Will this machine punch holes and bind 12 inches?

UPDATE: I ran out and purchased one of these, based on your video of the perfect way to organize all my sheet music.
The answer is, “No. it won’t work for 9x12 purchased sheet music!”
