It was a political decision to keep an old mill going when it was uneconomic, it provided much needed jobs for local people. And a political decision to close it too.
I'm afraid not, I concentrated on the mills that used steam locomotives for that job. You can't imagine how many hours it took to film all these sugar mills!

Isn't there a video of taking sugarcane from the field using a truck in the Watutulis sugar factory video?
