Congratulations! 🥂 Exciting life adventure. Very welcome here to Sweden. From properties here I know and had, that place looks really really nice. Rural (?) parts of building in a very positive way. I hope you will get the keys quick, because....remember my words: Starting in May and later, that garden and area will explode of spring, green plants, fresh air, sun, longer brighter days/daylight, birds and animals making "noice". It is the best of seasons when summer is blooming up until end of June. Crossing my fingers that the old lady will move to a better place for her at her age and needs. Now you only need a tractor....mean Volvo. 😜👍 Excellent choice of house. 👌
Congratulations! You found the place. With that contract, you have planning time. The grounds are beautiful. And, you can make it your own, put your own touches on it. It's like my loft townhome in Las Vegas. I bought it at a 70 pct discount as a foreclosure property after our last crash. I've been getting my financial house prepared and, now, I shall make it my own in relative financial security.
You really a very down to earth person dear, normally London people are very snobbish ,also changing direction in your life shows maturity ,all the best for you in that place when you moving there,God bless you
Wow, that is a huge change in lifestyle compared to living in London. I’ve watched your videos since you started your channel and this is a marked change. It seems so remote that area. Would you not get bored by living there after a while? I mean it looks very peaceful there but very isolated which could be good or bad depending on your situation. Congrats though in finding what you wanted. Will be interesting to follow how you enjoy life there in the future!
Most of the time wood insulated with fiberglass (glasfiber) and considered to be among the most energy efficient houses. Really old fashioned ones are made of durable timber and don't need a lot of insulation. Concrete is more common in apartment buildings. Stone is most often used as a outer foundation for old houses; nowadays concrete or plinths.
Sweden is so nice. Now you should come down to Spain like all the Swedish do in winter haha. At my local golf course I see Swedish cars taking up more than half of the parking lot, without exaggeration 😂 As I think they close the golf courses over winter there.
Ethan on another subject - how’s your metatarsal bone? Did you recover 100%? I fractured the same bone 2.5 months ago, went though recovery and rehabilitation, all looks good on an x-ray but it still feels strange and not fully comfortable, especially in the morning. I’m hearing a conflicting info from doctors, like „5th is the worst and this may linger” or „it’s just a matter of time”. I was hoping to go back to gym and tennis, but now growing more and more anxious, so wanted to check how is it in your case..
Same as you. This bone is one of the hard ones to heal since it is pulled by a muscle on one side and a ligament on the other so the healing is hard. I also feel the pain during the night sometimes. But during the day it is fine.
So happy for you Ethan.
Sorry, I am late to this video. I have been dealing with a few things too…..
The house you have found is beautiful.
Well done.
Beautiful and cozy home. Congrats.
I’m so happy for you. Stress free I’m sure in Sweden. It looks so peaceful there. Congratulations

Congratulations Ethan! It's very charming, very picturesque and I love the amount of land! 🏡
Thanks. You are too kind. You and Nancy are the two girls I remember from my comments here.

Congrats Ethan.
Are the houses all wooden? Does that offer better insulation?

Are you going to become Ethan from Gothenburg?
I will always be Ethan from London no matter where I am. This is my home.
Why don't you fly instead of drive everywhere?
Yay! 🎉
