Beautiful video! Reminds me of my great aunt. Her last car was a 62 Chevy impala. Lived barely a mile outside of her small town. Her kids made a decision to have her give up driving. I guess she got pissed. “ my car knows it’s own way to and from town” lol she was 99 at the time. She lived another 7 years. She was so cool. She let her granddaughter and I take out their Polaris snowmobiles when I was about 11 , her granddaughter was 9. She could ride too! She’ll be like her grandma. And this woman in your video! I know my mom would’ve passed on the invitation to take a ride. I think.
I am sure your step ma remembers that car as a pre teenage girl coming out brand new.. oh boy, all the military men driving em around town just ending the depression not a lot of folk had cars in 36.. still one of the best years for the antique IMHO..
When I took my driving test in my pick up I had a vice grip on my window roll down on the passenger side. I'm glad the test person did make me fix it before she road with me for the test. Because they make us show that all that stuff work's before they even ride in the vehical.
NICE! cool ride. Next time let her drive!
Bet that brought back many memories for her ! Cool thing to do ! 👍🏻😁
Happy birthday Betty hope you enjoyed your ride ❤.

This is so sweet & wholesome
Go Granny go! That lady is a treasure, thank you for sharing with us. Might even have her back for another video or two? Liked and subbed.
My dad used to call the "Rumble Seat" the "Mother In Law Seat" 😂
That's Great ! Bet she remembers these cars in her youth and thought she would never ride in one again ! Hats off to u sir ! 👍
That was a really cool thing to do ...with a cool ride too!😉
She has all her marbles, God Bless her.
Luv the vise grip handle on the door....perfect.

Bad Ass brotha ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very cool! My grandma is 93 and she likes to cruise in my cars. I have a 54 cadillac I take her out in.

Nice. Nice car.
Cool old car. Even better story.
Very cool Nick!!
:) thanks!
She's cautiously enjoying the ride😊
She knows Nick!!
This was a great video and idea. Maybe I'll see if My 86 year old mother in law would like a ride in my 39 Chevy. 😊❤
She's wonderful and it was nice of you to take her for a ride, but you tended to cut her off while she was telling her stories.
My grandpa and grandma slept in separate beds and the women mostly didn't know how to drive during that time. Cray cray
How many drivers today would recognize a hand signal for left, right, slow down!
Is that a VG door latch or window crank? Sweet!
Ha. It was supposed to be temporary door latch (10 years ago)!
It is temporary. 10 years on a 50 year old car…
What a wonderful car! What's the cost to have it on a ride?
were those shocks in the car when it was new
Driving over all those speed bumps was a bit rough on the old girl.
And my mother-in-law didn't like it either...
