  • In this video you will learn how to crochet this little owl. It makes a great gift for Christmas or a baby shower. This is a great way to use up your left over yarn skeins. I used medium weight yarn and chose left over yarn to complete. You can choose your own colors. I made this using a G hook (4.25mm) but you can use up to a size J (6.0mm) or K hook with no problem. Just make sure you use a medium weight yarn. If you want to use a bigger hook then you will need to use a chunky weight yarn.

    Hello Ms. Yolanda...I noticed you have the same problem with the simply soft yarn as I do and I figured I would share a little secret with you that helped me so.... much with using the simply soft yarns. I have always used metal crochet hooks like you use until one day I decided to try the Clover Soft Touch crochet hooks. It did take some getting use to but, OH WOW, they truly do make ALL the difference in the world. I now love to use simply soft b/c the hooks are divine. they will feel a little short in your hand at first but i promise if you just continue to use it for a couple of hours you will NEVER go back to using the other hooks. I was so convinced I purchased a full set of them on eBay that very evening and actually found them for a pretty good price, b/c in the stores they can be quiet pricey. Hope this helps you as much as it did me. God bless you and thank you so much for your wonderful video's. I started watching you about 8 months ago and you got me hooked.

      You do the pattern for the other ear but backwards. So when you get to those last 5 stitches its hdc, dc, dc, tr, tr. Then you knot it off and i used a yarn needle to thread the excess into the owl.

    • @KhloesMomma0315
      @KhloesMomma0315 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      She completely skipped over it. Easy to figure out, because it's the opposite of the first ear, but beginners are going to be completely confused by that

    Hi, I'm having trouble understanding how is it that if you start with 10 half double crochets and then you do next row should be 20, then the next 40 but you are going from 10 to 24 to 48 where did you put the other stitches?

    • @KhloesMomma0315
      @KhloesMomma0315 6 ปีที่แล้ว
