This is such a beauty to watch. The yarn is perfect, the tension is perfect, no motions wasted, and the work is not roughly handled. Personally I hold my crochet hook the other way but aside that, I have a slight issue with using a much smaller hook as recommended on your website for yarn for amigurumi projects. Due to the amount of tension I use it causes my elbow and forearms and fingers to be really fatigued/stressed out after only a short while working. I hope I’ll get better at it soon

For those having trouble with the neck feathers: The base for the first feather is made of 2 sets of ch3, rather than a ch3 and a dc like if you were making them as normal. Once you're at that last lone double crochet in round 2, you ch 2, sl st into the top of your starting ch3, ch 3, sl st into where you started round 2. This puts you at the bottom of the round rather than the top as usual, so your feathers should point the correct way! Also, rather than sl st into the lone dc between feathers like the pattern says, I sl st into the sc in round 1 that the dc was stitched into, and that worked for me. Doesn't slide around like if you sl st around the post, and easier than trying to get your hook through a few of the loops at the base of the dc. Unfortunately I have no way to film a tutorial for visual learners or I'd make one myself, but I hope this helps!

I had a really hard time following your video. I have my owl made apart from the feathers. I think it would be more helpful if you said what part of the pattern you were doing as you are working rather than trying to figure out what step you are on, messing up, and then starting over.
