@LauraCourtneyette I think everybody except for these guys thought it was Mr Shart. I can't wait to see the J20 compilation of people's reaction to this episode to see how many Mr sharts they include
@@springform_99yeah I think, the only test was to complete a ouija session but Agathas mother fulled the mistrust... In the end they let her kill Alice by not protecting Agatha from her mother - staying together.
btw, the chunk of obsidian that the salem 7 witch was 'sniffing' at the start, was one of the items that was placed to summon Rio Vidal. i believe it is the stone Lilia placed. the Salem 7 used that portal to enter the witches' road.
their bodies were gone but their souls (which were real) continued. in the comics they went back in time and reincarnated into new, separate families. however, there's a theory that in the mcu billy maximoff's soul will possess billy kaplan's dead body (after a car accident which was mentioned in ep1)
Teen being able to say nicks name was what exposed him. Agatha mentions a car accident in east view and Joe lockes name in the credits is over an artical about an accident. Teen possibly died in the accident and the soul of Billy ended up in his body 3 years ago. When he was talking to Alice he said a lot happened to him when he was 13
I think the way Agatha realised was combination of Rio telling her "The boy isn't yours!" and then Teen being able to say "Nicholas Scratch" outloud without being censored by the sigil and hearing Nicholas' voice from the beyond as a spirit solidified that the Teen is not her son. So, she confirmed her suspicion, she probably had since the beginning that she was Wanda's son...also, maybe gaining powers helped her.
Yeah, I am waiting for a very compelling explanation as to why Billy can exist in a world where Wanda became a villain to move to another world where her sons could exist... Someone said that they played Billie Eilish for the reveal for Billy, and I respect that deeply.
My theory since ep3 when we learned more about the sigil is that sometime between Wandavision and Multiverse of Madnesss Wanda actually figured out a way to bring Wiccan (and maybe Speed) back to life in her world, but either as part of the process or for his safety she had to place the sigil on him which would have also caused her to forget that he exists so her actions in MoM would still make “sense” (as much sense as that movie makes being written by people who never saw Wandavision).
The name of the episode says it all: Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power. "Teen" was so upset by Alice's death and felt so betrayed by Agatha, that the strong emotions basically manifested his magic power. I don't think Billy / Wiccan knew he had that power until it was awakened by his anger. His magic up till then was the craft part of witchcraft... chanting spells from a book, etc. He wanted to walk the Road to gain the real power... levitation, energy bolts, etc. He didn't know that was already in him. The mystery now is, at what point did Billy Maximoff's soul (the only thing left of him after Wanda ended the Westview Hex) get reincarnated or possess Billy Kaplan's body. There was a headline behind Joe Locke's name in the end credits that says something like "Near-fatal auto accident in Westview".
That’s a great point. We never thought of that. It could be that he was playing Agatha all along (lol) and always had the powers, but I think you’re right. The road woke them up.
Likely Wanda created them before dying. There a Tarot card of a collapsing towere with two boys falling from it. And obviously Wiican wants to bring his mom back., all along, but lost his temper with Agatha's murderous ways.
does anyone even remember what wanda said to agatha in wandavision when agatha says “you’re gonna need me”? Wanda literally said “if I do I know where to find you” so possibly he sent his son wiccan. maybe he was sent by chthon or wanda herself to free agatha from wanda’s spell and help him get to witches road to revive his mom wanda. Maybe that was the plan all along.
I have a feeling that there was a 13-year-old named Billy Kaplan back in December of 2023, about a month after the events of WandaVision who was in the backseat of a car when his parents got into a car accident and he died but was possessed by the magic that had created Billy Maximoff to bring him back to life, and he spent these last 3 years learning everything he had to know to be able to use Agatha Harkness to get to the witches road to bring Wanda back to life. We will see how right or wrong I am.
@CoralAries-fc7jr yes, the mid-season trailer came out yesterday, and it basically confirms my theory, LOL. I was never into the comics, but listening to what a lot of other people say about his origin story in the comics and then picking up the bread crumbs that the show has been laying down, it made sense.
@@MattPerk7 also there's a scene of Alice, I really want the last episode to be a premonition of Lilia, lot of people are saying that too, excited for the next episode
people don't know and many don't care that Agatha's innate power [what she had pre-Witchcraft] is in the same family as Rogue of the X-Men. i am pretty sure that her power is also very much a curse [which is why her mom felt she was evil from birth] and by that i mean she doesn't really have any control over it, once certain stimuli is introduced [power for Agatha, touch for Rogue.] she literally begged her mother to teach her to control it before her mother failed to execute her... i heard a youtube reactor liken these powers to being addicted to drugs, and for a character like Willow from the Buffy universe that makes perfect sense, tho that is not Agatha's storyline at all. she did not choose her ability and there was never anyone in Agatha's life to teach her how to control it, so that it doesn't control her. i think once raw power interacts with Agatha's aura, a flip is switched and all Agatha can see is the power. the desire to absorb more and more is all there is in that moment. but who knows! i've never read a single comic book. maybe her power is better explained there and i am completely wrong. wouldn't be the first time! coughWiccancough
I don’t think Wiccan/Teen actually killed the other witches. I think he just sent them off the Road somehow. There’s promo footage of them back at the start of the Road with him looking very muddy. 👀 And the trailers have shown us trials we haven’t seen yet, like the one where Lilia is dressed as Glinda and Agatha as the Wicked Witch.
In climax Agatha realizes teen is not her son she thought is maybe teen is her son so she very care about teen but now one of the spirit is her son so now she call pet she didn't care anymore
She also named her own pet after her son tho so I don’t think her using the term pet means she doesn’t care it’s just her asserting dominance. Because on the contrary you don’t want to mess with Agatha’s actual pet.
Hé Guys loved y’alls reaction to this episode! And yeah they made the Salem 7 a bit different but still 6 kids of the former coven + Vertigo as it’s leader (eldest daughter of Nicholas) so I’m extremely curious if they keep that in this story or how they will change that..?!💜 The knight of wands means Passion and Impulsiveness! But can also represent a surge of energy and confidence. Depending on how you would read the card See y’all for the next!
@burnbearscomedy this is a pretty good video explaining the tarot cards that Lilita constantly calls out. She mentions each persons card when they're in the pose that appears on the card. I think that's something that was realized after this video was made but otherwise this has some really good information for you on the subject. There will probably be at least some explanations next episode. Hopefully the witches will have learned the most important lesson of all... Don't piss off the already pissed off super-powered teenager
My favorite bouncing, happy couple! First, Kate, your hair looks great. Did you get it done? Screencrush has a good explanation of how Wicken is alive in their breakdown of this episode. It was a test about determination. Their choice to enter with Agatha was tested.
I do not think Agatha can control her taking of other's powers.
We don’t think so either. I think she gets all mean and wicked to hide her true feelings. She’s a big softy with mommy issues lol

The friggin music que to the Wanda theme right at the end, and then the Crown song, so good.
