In my experience, the AS4-D are very bugged. They essentially just cruise in at 90k, don't look like they've hit anything, are completely uninterceptable, and then a few minutes later the ships they were targeting decide to rapidly recommission into submarines
Ive had them target subs before...which idk how that happens. I was aiming for a Ticonderoga and it hit a LA that was like 15 miles away and 400ft down. So yeah very very bugged
Upon your anti ship missiles getting intercepted, the CO of the Iowa was probably resisting the urge to radio you saying something along the lines of "you're more than welcome to get into a gunfight with me"
Spruance class with VLS is still just mainly an ASW ship but a very good ASW ship with VLS ASROC and 2 SH60s. Did a ship tour during a USN port visit back in 97' USS Lake Eire ( a Tico) and a Spruance a week or so later
Maybe had the USSR stayed intact, but under the Russian Federation? Yeah, not a chance in hell, I'll be surprised if they ever even put their carrier back to sea😂😂

I have uploaded it a few minutes ago and it would make me happy, if you could maybe at least open it and maybe play it😂. The Scenarios name is "Italian Reunion - Operation Summer. I plan on create more scenarios for the series "Italian Reunion".
That's "семь тысяч" - "seven thousand" which every contact number begins with this game (idk why), so they constantly say stuff like "contact 7454 faded"
it seems to me that why i didn't risk buying this bugged beyond use PSO is valid. When you are Nato the ruyuskies can shoot down 95% of everything. When you are Ruskies you can't shoot down 30% of missiles or aircraft. The AI is totally not fit for purpose.
It was a proposed upgrade for an Iowa class BB (they would most likely have upgraded New Jersey as she was in the best condition compared to the other Iowas), but the upgrade was never realised.

Simple Bombing Missions is the only thing the AI can do at the Moment, it was in the Patchnotes.
RAN was the first with VLS on Perry's (Adelaide class) with 8 cell VLS for 32 ESSM, I think a couple of other navies did same after we did ours..

You should try the mod that turns the Kirov into the Admiral Lazarev with hypersonics. Even against multiple AGIS VLS its terrifying!
I wonder what ships other navies might get and what they might look like in this sort of mod. Missile battleship Vanguard perhaps?
I believe the Vanguard mod is already available. And there is a mod that updates Russians to hypothetical also

would like to see a mission with Long Beach, Enterprise, Texas and New Jersey (non VLS) plus some frigates vs same sort of group......
