Depends. If you don't have 2 premium sustains or struggle with keeping your team alive, go aventurine. If you don't have one of the break dps characters, go Rappa. If you don't care about meta, pull for who you want, since with good enough relics, traces, and 5 star characters, most team comps can work.
Aventurine is a must have if you already have a main dps, whether it's crit DMG or BE. Rappa I feel like you need a team comp for her to work really well.
if your new always go for DPS first. if youre gonna pull for rappa make sure you always pair her with Harmony Trailblazer(rappa cant work without it) (you can get him at the beginning of the game after beating the first main boss)
