Lylla is so beautiful with that smile! How is her English so good? Max, I just love you and your content. I would love to hang with you and learn about Vietnam in person. ❤😊
Great video ! It had me smiling all the way through !! Lylla is so infectious & bubbly (I have subbed), as well as a great informative foodie !! Another great video Max !!! ❤💯❤
Another mouthwatering video! I LOVE IT! For bun cha, I'm too lazy to dip one bite at a time, so I put the whole thing in. 😂 I REALLY love that Lylla introduced us to the bun cha place where the owners are DHH. ❤
If you still stay in Hanoi, try chả cá lã vọng and I recommend you guys a "Hanoi autumn's combo" : egg coffee + xôi cốm. You can try egg coffee and an creamy esspresso named "Sapa" at ThaiYen Cafe - 186 Quán Thánh, Ba Đình, Hà Nội.

If you're unfamiliar with the cuisine, do a food tour. Most tourists that do them love them as they get to eat good food and learn more about the history, culture, architecture, etc.
After 2 years of watching your Vlog, I realized we have similar Tastes. So I recommend you should try Stir-fried eel at 1 Chan Cam street, and Miến Lươn Trộn at 9 Phu Doan street which nearby the first one, cause each restaurant has its own strong point dish
Welcome back Sir as always beautiful upload street food travel blog .. you guys full of energy and happiness that brings to all of us Joy after watching your beautiful sharing yummy tempting delicious recipe .. keep it up and Merci beaucoup
Hey Max awesome video! I was visiting Hanoi last week and was in a grab car with my dad and saw you and her walking down the street. Excitedly told my dad about how you're one of the best youtubers here in VN and an inspiration of mine. I'm a vlogger as well living in Saigon and would love to make a video with you sometime. Let me know if you're interested! Take care.
There is avery good Mien Luon restaurant in a small alley on Ly Tu Trong street , bot too far from Thu Khoa Huân corner . Go try it and make a review there when you get back in Saigon . Also try the Cha Gio Cua Be , Mien Xao Cua , Mien Nuoc Cua on Dinh Tien Hoang street ( Dakao ward ) . There are actually two restaurants on the same street selling the same dishes . Choose the closest one to Dien Bien Phu corner which is the original restaurant and the best .
So much fun to have you in Hanoi. Looking forward to our next eating adventure! Thanks, Max ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks to everyone for watching and sharing your thoughts! 🥰🥰🥰 Hopefully I get voted back onto the show, haha. Dạ, cám ơn ạ! 😜🤭😉
Dang when I was last in Hanoi my airbnb was in the alley between that bun cha spot and the nail place. I wish I had tried it there. Instead I ate at Bun Cha Dac Kim which was the best I ever had! Max do you know any good bun cha spots in Saigon?
@@1staid477 Only until SABECO started up Saigon Special. Heineken is made in Vietnam under a license and tastes just like what is sold in the US. How it tastes in Holland, I don't know.
Did you try the Bun Bo Nuong hole in the wall in Hanoi... So simple a dish with beef, onions, cucumbers and yet that place is always packed and I wonder why there are not many shops that specialized in that simple dish !!!
There is a small town in San Diego named Linda Vista after the refugee families moved into the area early 80s it was nicknamed Little Vietnam. On my long walks in my teen years, I was exhausted and hungry and stopped at a small Vietnamese restaurant and ordered a small bowl of soup never having eaten Vietnamese food. The waitress spoke almost no English and I pointed at the menu not knowing what I ordered and prayed for luck. The soup was absolutely an amazing newfound joy. I immediately felt revived and warm on a cold day. Before I left, they must have sensed I was low on cash and made me up a small take-out bag of soup and a warm sweat bum. I remember the clear broth, noodles, and a sprig of cilantro which gave it a minty flavor, plus some chilies gave it heat.
Stir fry glass noodle is deceptively hard I tried a few times but they end up sticking to reach other and all broken into small bits. Those aunties in vn and Thailand make it look easy.
Wow, this noodle tour looks like a dream come true! 😍 I’ve never seen so many delicious variations of noodles in one place. Which noodle dish from this tour would you say is an absolute must-try?
Her Vietnamese accent is really cute and sweet. I don't know much about northern accent but her accent is rare from all the northerners I've talked to. Marry her, knows her way around foods, is not shy eating on camera, and has that accent.
Someone tell my if this theory is too wacky but maybe southern Americans might take easier to Vietnamese because the southern accent is already kind of melodic/lilting so they might find tonal languages easier
Hi Max I am looking to travel to Vietnam about 3 weeks and visiting family. I was wondering how much money is enough for 3 weeks in USD just for eating and going to places within the one city or so. (I don't drink either).
