  • The DISGRACEFUL war crimes of the Parjai Squad on Utapau after Order 66 and Obi-Wan's defeat of Grievous.
    Clone Shadow Troopers video: • CLONE SHADOW TROOPERS ...
    The Parjai squad was an elite unit of clone paratroopers who served in the 2nd airborne company of the 212th attack battalion during the Clone Wars. As the Clone war neared its end, this elite group of Clone troopers was called in to help Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, as one of the first squads to land on Utapau, before his fight with General Grievous.
    So, I’m going to break down exactly who the Parjai squad were and their horrific actions in the aftermath of Order 66.
    Before we get into it, make sure you subscribe for more incredible Star Wars lore content!
    The Parjai Squad was a part of the 2nd airborne company, which was a part of the 212th attack battalion, which in turn was part of the 7th Sky Corps of the Third Systems army.
    The squad was led by Clone Sergeant Barlex, who was a non commissioned officer. Barlex was born on Kamino just like every other clone trooper of the Republic, as was one of the first to complete his training with the Mandalorians on the planet. Barlex was known for his absolute hatred of the Clone Special forces units, including the Omega squad and Delta Squad. By the time he met the troopers of the Omega Squad for the first time, he was very cautious about supporting them and the rest of the Clone Special forces, as he had lost 10 of his Close brothers, who were killed by Mandalorians. Barlex, and the rest of the 2nd airborne company soon after, absolutely hated the Omega squad because they adopted the Mandalorian mindset and culture.
    Unfortunately, we don’t know the names of any of the other troopers in the squad, but they were definitely a very close group of clone brothers.
    After Obi-wan Kenobi had received word of General Grievous’ presence on Utapau, a small unit of Clone Shadow Troopers were sent to scout out the planet’s sinkhole cities for any separatist activity and also to place jamming devices which would allow Barlex and Commander Cody’s men to provide support for Obi-Wan, without notice.
    After the jammers were successfully placed in the sinkhole cities of Utapau, the Clone Shadow troopers notified Barlex, who brought his Parjai squad to Utapau immediately, along with Commander Cody.
    The parjai squad were instrumental in helping the Republic forces to defeat the separatist droids on the planet during Obi-Wan's fight with General Grievous, eventually resulting in a complete and total republic victory.
    Unfortunately however, the chilling message from Chancellor Palpatine was transmitted to Barlex and the rest of the Parjai, demanding that they execute Obi-Wan Kenobi as part of Order 66. The Parjai squad weren’t directly responsible for attempting to kill Kenobi on the planet, but they did pledge their full and unwavering loyalty to the Chancellor at this point, and very soon after, the Empire.
    Following the creation of the Empire, things get a lot more horrible. The Parjai squad, along with many others from the 212th remained on Utapau after the creation of the Empire, taking the former neutral world under imperial control and to participate in the event that went on to be known as the subjugation of Utapau. Unfortunately, the Parjai squad was ordered to round up every single member of the Utapau resistance movement on the planet, including Tion Medon, who greeted Obi-Wan when he arrived on the planet. On top of mass arrests and harsh treatment of the civilians, the Clones of the Parjai squad deported many natives on the planet, removing them from their homes without notice or fair warning. On top of this, they brutally enslaved a large part of the population, before sending some of these slaves off world to be used in harsh labor camps, where they would work until they were completely exhausted and eventually die.

So yeah glad they killed the Jedi but they're like children of a cruel man and are still loyal to him and don't know better, they were raised to be loyal to him they were molded to be that way I forgive them 98%

    I wondered if some clones would have faced trials for tactics like this if Anakin killed Palpatine. I mean Rex and Cody usually tries to keep their men safe but clones like Neyo and Faie is completely monstrous.

    • @aaabbbb5850
      @aaabbbb5850 3 ปีที่แล้ว +52

      @Sam Neyo is just emotionless and doesn't care whether his fellow clones live or die in missions but Faie on the other hand is flat out crazy in every step of the way.
      When order 66 was initiated he ordered one of the Juggernaut tanks to fire on Vos who was sitting on another Juggernaut tank and didn't care if the other clones died as long as the jedi perished (and if you didn't know Juggernaut tanks can hold alot of clone trooper passengers for transport) and after the tank gets destroyed Quin Lon Vos survives the attack and retreats into the jungles of Kashyyk where Faie hunts him down with a squad of troopers.
      Vos kills off the clone scout troopers while Faie survives then the crazy commander decides to threaten to order an orbital bombardment on his position which most likely inhabitated many wookies in the area which would end up killing Vos, Faie and every other living thing in the area. Of course this doesn't end up happening since Vos ends up killing Faie but the fact that he was willing to do all of that just to kill Quin lon Vos only shows how out of his mind he was, it also doesn't help he fact that they never liked each other from the start either even before order 66.

    I don't blame the clones for anything they did in a way they became more like droids with those chips and couldn't help it. You saw both rex and jesse struggle in S7 of clone wars that they both didn't want to kill Ahsoka. It's those chips never the clones fault at all.

    • @verbalkint4258
      @verbalkint4258 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Some clones didn't really care though. Rex and Jesse had relationships with Ahsoka, they viewed her like a little sister, so they were able to somewhat hesitate. But for clones that weren't previously attached to their commanders, it probably wasn't much of a struggle. You have to remember that the clones arent necessarily saints, they were made to follow orders, if their orders from the beginning had been to kill civilians and bombard planets they would've done it too, they were just under the command of moral people (except Palpatine) so that never happened until the Empire took complete control.

    I wonder if when executing order 66, the inhibitor chips overrode any ethics the clones may have been taught up to that point? under the jedi did the clones have to be watched for this sort of behavior? I don't remember reading of any. but after order 66, that all seemed to go out the window.
