Axial Scx10 III vs Scx10 II trail run comparison!!

- The wife and I wanted to do a trail test of the Scx10 II vs the Scx10 III side by side comparison to see which performed better. In my opinion not much difference couple of times the Scx10 III out did the Scx10 II but other than that they both will go were you want, OFF ROAD!!
On top of everything I think the wife out drove me in this video, she's driving the Blazer she's a pretty smooth driver.🤘👌👍

Thank you and yeah there both about the same except for portals and dig unit. I actually think the Scx10 II might of done a little better, but both solid rigs.

The Jeep is stock except for the wheels and tires
great video and your wife did a great job of driving. look for Axial part # AX 31560 for some very scale and factory looking bumpers for the Blazer

What camera and microphone are you using to film with, the sound , besides the wind is awesome
First thanks for watching 👍 and the camera is a Akaso EK7000 4k ultra HD. It's GoPros competitor but a fraction of the price. Under a hundred dollars and works great wireless remote and tons of attachments the microphone is built in the camera. Found it on eBay.

Jeez, to me the scx10 ii looked a smidge more capable. I really liked the way the Blazer was able to crawl.
Does the Blazer have some suspension upgrades or anything else to speak of? Good driving and excellent video.
The 10.2 has weighted wheels with the Pitbull tires and Integy shocks with 30 weight oil they are 100mm shocks lil longer than stock which helped a lot upgraded the links to incision links thicker and heavier the rest is stock. It does very well for a scale crawler 👍 thanks for watching 👌

it would have been more interesting to have the two original vehicles without options, we can see that the scx10 3 has other heavier wheels and weight add to the front. which makes this comparison less interesting
but it's still a very nice video
Very true about the comparison, but the Blazer has weighted wheels with the Pitbull tires and Integy shocks and it has the heavier Incision links not quite as much weight as the 10.3 though but I've got the Blazer set up pretty good but do need a stock comparison. Got it off eBay $26 Injora 150mm x 245mm luggage carrier roof rack and light bar combo. Fits really nice.

I’m struggling to crawl on my 10.3 what upgrades did you do to the tires and wheels? Are they weighted beadlock wheels or did you install lead weights around the rims? What foam inserts did you install? I’m starting to feel disappointed to my 10.3 but when i saw your videos I’m impressed and more eager to fill the gap. I also subscribe to your channel i hope you will still upload videos with your 10.3. Cheers
I'm running 30 weight oil in shocks, the tires are proline Bfgoodrich mud-terrain with proline two stage foams the beadlocks are metal but no weights added have metal bumper with stinger on it and metal roof rack but other than that it's stock with dig function.

Wich front bumper are you using on the axial scx10 III?
Just a cheap metal bumper off eBay. I searched up metal front bumper with stinger
I'm thinking of getting either the ii or the iii but have heard that some folks have had problems with leaking shocks - is that a problem?

Mine haven't leaked yet knock on wood lol. I did the green slime trick around the seals of shock and it helps alot. Either way you go you will have a great rig .

It's Cobalt green ps-54 and metallic silver ps-48 are the paint codes thanks for watching 👍
as far as I could tell. The only differences were the drivers and the body shells. the blazer was catching on things but hey. its an obsolete design.
Should have put the 10.2 wrangler against the 10.3 wrangler 👍🏻
The only 10.2 I have is the Blazer besides my UMG10. My wife just ordered a 10.2 kit Jeep Cherokee, maybe I'll put those two against each other. Thanks for watching 👍
Is it that mush better for the money? It doesn't look like it; plus its a jeep body the chevy is way cooler. My thoughts

Look up Kisun rc for the clicking in the transmission solution on the 10.3
I changed out my pinion gear from 14t that came with kit to a 17t and the noise is gone now. Thanks for the info though much appreciated.
@@mikejamesrc4273 Wow, that's some pretty tall gearing for as slow as you drive it. The 17T should give it more top end, but I would think it would be bad for slow rock work. Is your motor getting warm? I only ask because I went the other way to a 12T pinion for slower crawling.
Yeah trying for a lil more wheel speed but I think I'm gonna go back to the 14t gear seem to have better low end control. Just seeing how I want it set up got to play with everything try it out but like you said I lost some low end control. Thanks for watching 👍

It is heavier than the Scx10 II and needs some tuning done to it.
