It’s true. What others have said here. College football and sports is pretty much over. They are paid employees. They can come and go as they want. No allegiance. Except the money. The student athlete charade is over. More and more we’re going to see college athletes boo’d . Because they aren’t students anymore… They are paid employees. And they get what they wanted. And that comes along with it. I don’t begrudge the players for doing this. But it’s time to say goodbye to college athletes and move it out of FSU. Other countries don’t even do anything like this. No sports on campus. Probably the better model. Time to look for alternatives to maintaining relationships and the university. Less sports, more other choices. Seminars. Continuing education. Travel programs. EXIT STRATEGY TIME.
I'm losing my interest in watching and following college athletics due to all of this $ deals brought on board, plus the drama with the transfer portal is getting old. I like the old ways.
