I've seen a much much worse version where the focus is more on fl's abuse and bullying than the development of her relationship with ml. This version, I'd put on place 3 of 6. Mainly because there is one really good version with a terrible fl actress. What I really like about this version is that FL is a bit more mature than in the other ones.
That scene when the female protagonist stabbed her adoptive parents to death for revenge was not healthy for a "pregnant woman" like her. The gruesome memory of that episode will be deeply ingrained in her children's psyche, which can develop violent tendencies in them when they grow older. Scriptwriters do have a responsibility to conduct a full research on such a situation in order to convey a positive impact to the viewers, if the moral of the story of this film is to demonstrate that good will always triump over evil. Even the male protagonist seemed misguided in enticing the female protagonist in her pregnant condition to commit such a violent act, no matter how justifiable (due to past atrocities committed by the couple antagonists towards the female protagonist) it might have been. As a Filmmaker myself, such a scene was technically overkill, if not unnecessary, and could have been executed better. Hope it will not encourage young couples to take "pregnancy" lightly like in this vertical movie, if we would not want to bring about and raise more problematic (violent) children in the coming generation.
First, the babies in her womb can't see to the outside world unless they have xray vision. The ML was cute but not Superman. As fetuses the only thing they could experience would be heightened hormones from the mother such as cortisone and adrenaline. Those hormones are also heightened when she's in danger. And if being exposed to those hormones in a fetal state caused severe problems man would never have evolved past the cave man days where that stress response was an everyday occurrence. I agree that karmiclly it's not a good idea to do that at all much less while pregnant but a spiritual belief of mine doesn't change the biological reality of her pregnancy.
I agree. I felt that these chinese dramas glorify violence too much, and then they also have lines like "I trust the law of the land." No you don't - otherwise, you wouldn't have punished the wrongdoers yourself. Also, there were so many other ways to instill confidence in the FL, killing was not needed.

Everytime I see a new Version of this Storyline, I want to go back and watch the first Original Version starring Yang Yanguang as the ML and Zhang Qi Xuan as the FL again, that Version is the best of them all nevertheless I liked this one too, they added some details which made it a remake but with its own originality, very nice 👏. The Casts were attractive and each played their parts well. I recommend it 😊. Cheers mates 🤗

The actors are good, apart from Miss Quin. She lacked the strong aura and was more like a little spoiled child. I missed her authoritative presence. This actress can improve her interpretation of the role. Who totally blew my mind was ml actor. I've not seen him before, but boy was his interpretation of the character good! Absolutely awesome. The indifference and coldness on the outside in the beginning. How he was slightly warmer with his parents and eventually much warmer with fl, once he got closer ... This actor either has the same personality or some serious acting skills 😁👌🏻
So, in the beginning, the ML goes to save FL. He gets there and argues with the bad person, literally leaving the poor pregnant girl on the ground. First instinct should be help her, but nah, just leave her dying on the ground. Lol.

This version was cute. It had some pluses that the other versions didn't which i think made the ending an even happier ending. This version, as in the others, we get to see the growth of both the FL and the ML as they learn from and adapt to each other. That's one of the best things about this plotline. It's unusual to see character growth so clearly in a short drama.

The writers threw in a female bodyguard! Now, let's see how this plays out. If the plot is the same as the others, I guess it wouldn't make a difference. I've gotta say, the bodyguard distraction is way better than the others! He doesn't fall for one of the bullies, it's an unknown student! Then when he gets word of the kidnapping, only he goes, while leaving the other 2 bodyguards with fl! 2:23:45 YEESSS! THANK YOU WRITERS! It's like they heard me!

禁慾佛子這個版本比較清新，沒有其他版本太多淒慘與血腥，也是不錯的版本。
帶保鏢上課，以及去玄爺公司工作的部份，之前版本很少出現，讓整個故事更完整。女主跟秦總監對峙那場，襯出女主的成長👍
