Claiming himself to be an adventurer, he makes up stories of adventures he was never on. He Thicc was last seen heading to the corruption nation.

I'll go ahead and try to list all the references and jokes for this demo here:
-The koopas are the Cookie Grandmas from Cookie Clicker Super Mario Edition
-The Galoombas have no eyebrows, like the one in Mario Pissing
-The corrupted losing screen is *supposed* to say "Time to take a piss"
-Releasio Road is an extended version of Super Toad 67
-The game over is "Perdu!", a reference to his PSP homebrew stream
-"Dig to China" is based heavily on ig Dug Arrangement
-Speedway Luigi is a mix of Speedluigi and Stardust Speedway, with the goal inside of Luigi's hat
-Dark Factory is meant to replicate a factory level in the style of Kirby's Dreamland 2
-The BRB Screen is a reference to a SMB2 stream
-The What to Expect screen is supposed to give the same vibe as the "Demo time up" screens on XBLA Indie demos
and as for HE THICC himself:
-The small jump is a BLJ
-The small victory pose is a dab
-The run is the Super Peel-out
-The large victory pose is "You know I had to do it to em"
-The large jump is *supposed* to be HT on a skateboard, a reference to Joel's bootleg he made of SMB
-The crouch is a reference to the broken crouch in Who's Your Daddy
-His design is based moreso on the original Mii
and none of the physics are changed ;)

-Intro screen and What to Expect use "Neon Night Riders" from TMNT IV
-Releasio Road uses Double Cherry Hills from SM3DW
-Speedway Luigi uses "Stardust Speedway Past" from Sonic CD
-Vaporworld uses "Hip Shop" from Deltarune
-Antiworld used both "Still of the Night" from Secret of Mana and "Map - Abstract" from SMWC's VLDC7
-Dig to China uses "On The Moon", which I couldn't find the Soundcloud artist of
-Dark Factory uses "Dark Castle" from Kirby's Dreamland 2
-the BRB screen uses "World Star" from SM3DW
-Dark Office Tower uses "Still of the Night" from Secret of Mana
-the level select uses "File Select" from Paper Mario

An update:
This hack *is* still being worked on, but It's gone over quite a big overhaul from what it was way back when. I'm not sure when it'll be finished, but I know I won't release it until I myself am happy with how it turned out.

@@KennethV2000 not quite yet, unfortunately. I've been trying to work out a few bugs with the player's movement (namely implementing the Punch Spike and trying to figure out why duck sliding will sometimes crash the game), but once those are done I'll try doing weekly updates as opposed to annually. I think the need to fill each update with new info will get me working on the project a bit more.

I like your first Luigi voice better. I can't figure out why though.
The plot of the game should be that HE THICC dies at the start and must go through the stages of grief to deal with his death, but because of his life of sin and the fact that the Vinesauce fanbase won't let him die, instead of going through the normal 5 stages of grief he must go through MUCH more. He must get through each level beating bosses along the way, and the final boss is the Vinesauce fanbase refusing to let HE THICC die. The ending is just HE THICC accepting that the meme is dead and it's for the best.
I want someone to make that same brb screen, animated as Luigi rides into the sunset slowly, as you cruise along with him... maybe a remix, too?
