Morbius in GOAT? You go too far, sir. The Gothic theme for part of the TB era was fine - but not particularly asked for. Having said that, I would have put The Pyramids of Mars in GOAT myself. Overall, Tom had two solid seasons, then a solid, but risky, season (1976/77), which started the dire humour. After that, there was too much humour, and the material was "Meh" with exceptions: honourable mentions for the Terrance Dicks stories, City of Death, Shada, etc. Even Douglas Adams admitted that his humour did not always come out well on the screen. The final season, where they tried to rein it in, was worthy but bordering on dull. Sometimes ideas which looked good on paper did not quite work on-screen: for example, in The Stones of Blood, the cosy country cottage atmosphere was spoiled by the harsh studio lighting. There was also some bad luck: the failure to complete Shada and the failure to "treat" the mundane "TARDIS" corridors in The Invasion of Time (both caused by strike action, as I recall). There were also too many planets with Mediaeval-like Courts and costumes (Mandragora, etc., although The Androids of Tara gets a pass for having androids). As far as The Pirate Planet is concerned, my rage has only recently subsided. There is nothing the juvenile sci-fi mind hates more than the words "romp", "caper" and "spoof episode". (That includes two notorious Q episodes in Star Trek: Robin Hood in TNG and the Civil War romp in Voyager.) I have just also recalled the spoof episodes in Stargate and - I kid you not - Millennium. That's about it - I have given my all and am prostrate.

You've given a very long response but seem to have forgotten one important point; it's all just your opinion. I haven't gone "too far" on anything. I just really like the Brain of Morbius.
If you don't agree with me, that's fine. But forgetting to take into account that people are going to have different opinions to you is a bit silly, really.
The whole point of a ranking is that it's just based entirely on someone's opinion. If you don't like the Tom Baker era at all, that's fine. But why then have you watched a ranking video of it that lasts for 45 minutes? If you hate it that much, why have you still watched the video?
So no, I haven't gone "too far" with anything. As I always say in these, it's just my opinion. And please try to word your comments better next time, so that you take into account that all of what you're saying is just your opinion, not fact. Thank you

@Peter Dixon Ah sorry was a bit difficult to tell with it being just text. And me having Autism doesn't help either. 😅

@@BillWhovian Ah, I see. I enjoy the Tom Baker era in general, with some reservations as noted above.
