The Survival Russia Channel is about "The Reality Of Survival". I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature. Here is no room for "TV" Survival.
Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.
So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.

I like how you include your daughter. You can see she loves spending time with you!
Love how the pink troll is there to help!
She's a more capable and reliable employee than anyone I work with haha
I really want to see the Pink Troll, drive that! lol
Lars great job on the bug out vehicle. You are sort of a Danish/Russian MacGyver. A man of many talents. Jack
Except MacGyver hated guns.
so close, so damn close :D
Pink troll is super tough, she's always in shorts and t-shirts whilst dad is in full bug proof camouflage ha ha...love it :)
You are one of the only youtubers i have not lost intrest in over the years. You make great vids with no bs. Lars keep doing you and being awesome!
Awesome Lars, it's all coming together well. Lots of sweat and hope not too much blood from skinned knuckles. We have had 4 frosts already and one night down to -1c in some areas, we have seen 2c as a low. Fall is here with a vengeance. Good to see The Pink Troll helping dad.You deserve a big pat on the back Lars. Have a great weekend.
Thank you Fred. Frost already?! That's a serious autumn. Have a great weekend too buddy!
(In Steve Irwins voice), Crikey, what we have here is a pink troll in her natural habitat, we can see the patience never before seen in a pink troll.
The car is starting to look amazing, may i suggest using some shrink tubing over your electrical connection, will keep them from rusting and shorting out and all that good stuff. Shrink tube and put em inside a loop. *auto tech for 10+years.
Dream machine from the ground up by Lars. It's all you buddy! 🏁
That little army vehicle looks like it will be so much fun to drive. It's looking great too.
I work at a garage and all my co workers know about Lars and the Luaz and they will be happy to hear how she's coming along, getting so close my friend, I can already imagine the super awesome videos Luaz will make possible. -Kyle
Nice Belgian Camo paintjob in the works there! looking good on the hood already!
You are the first to actually notice it is the Belgian Jigsaw pattern :) Well done.
Survival Russia I took a guess about it being the Jigsaw camo pattern on the last video but now it's confirmed :)
Congrats Lars!
Sharp eyes / brain. I noticed the 3 colors in yesterdays video but did not think Jigsaw. :o( :o)
this camo looks better on vehicules than on uniforms tho
So glad I stumbled across this channel. This guy makes me smile every upload. Thank you for your efforts!
Well, thank you too :)
Lars, it's been great watching the progression. That little vehicle looks great as it's coming together and, since it has a completely different design philosophy from the military vehicles in Canada (and the US, of course), it looks like it has a ton of character.
I can't wait to see how well it does in the dirt and to see the power of the portal axles!
Awesome, awesome...Absolute awesomeness!!!!!! LOL!!
I want to express I'm so proud of your effort!!! (Well, I feel everybody here is...)
We want you kicking ass into the forest very soon!!!
But, "Before the winter" make sure to check a couple of things.
During the "fine tuning" of the engine, make sure to put some additives into the oil (I know you are familiar with the brutal winter)
But the engine sound a little , noisy? may be?
(check oil pump and use some russian "molikote/Wynn's/" one of those oil additives with molibden...to help the 7 seconds when starting in a cold morning)
We don't wanto to see you stranded in the forest.
You are great!!!
Regards.
Fred.
The SRV is just about ready! With you and the pink troll working on the SRV together reminds me of the Alan Jackson song "Drive".
The pink troll is fast all I saw was a pink blur at the end hahaha. Awesome video as always thanks for sharing Lars
Just a hop, skip and a short jump to go, then it's truly all completed. Wow!! Take care...
I've been watching your videos for some time now. Loving what you are doing with this vehicle and how you are making things work correctly again. Great job.
The only good thing about coming home from a two week holiday is catching up on your videos lars. Great work the camo it's looking great 👍🏻
It is starting to look really great. The larger wheels and tires make it look awesome.
Everyone is interested in the "Weather"! It would be interesting to see how your local Almanac compares to the changing weather this Solar minimum provides to our spaceship Earth. Good going on the buggy :)
I have been following this channel for quite a while now, and I appreciate the fact that Lars actually gets out there and really does stuff. Not like some of those US preppers/outdoors types who sit on their yard and just talk a good line. Thanks for the entertainment and the knowledge!
Thank you very much for that comment! :)
Belgian camo?
Thats badass! I love the little white details on it 😍
You almost made it!
Its f*cking awsome to see it like this... What a beauty!
Greetings, GR.🤘
Lars getting all fancy shmancy with the video angles and editing , love it ;)
So as Hurricane Harvey reminded us here in the States, Water and Electricity don't play too well together. Since you've are finishing up the Wiring, I'd wrap every connection I could with Cold Weather Electrical Tape so when you're going out in the Spring Thaw, you don't have to Paddle Home!
Amazing mate, wow, nearly there brother. I think we have an engineer in the making with the little Pink Troll. Cheers Moose
Looking wonderful ! I think the pink troll is as excited as you are about it , she was ready to go for another adventure ride when you started it to check the gauges ,she was like "paw don't forget me " Lars it was worth all the work it's looking awesome !
She have been asking for a long time if I would soon be putting the wheels on :) Thank you very much friend!
Varg will be happy about the additions to the paintwork ;-)
You speak good English!! Your country side looks very beautiful...but cold!! Every man Needs a hobby, good Luck with your truck..
I would be interested to see the finished product..Thank You for your time to make this video..Connecticut, USA..
Pink Troll can't wait to go driving with you. ;)
Awesome nice to see the pink troll spends time helping you. She is going through a growth spurt; she growing up so fast. amazing keep up the awesomeness
Nice! Been watching this all the way through, cool to see it so close to being done!
Thank you :)
Thanks Larz, I can't what to see the finished 4x4 ride!
Wow, that's looking real nice. No more setbacks or surprises and hopefully it all goes well.
Later down the line ,it might be good the put some heat shrink tubing on the connections and maybe make a wire loom spiral cover out of the cordage from the plastic bottles for extra protection, just an idea . I think the tires and and wheels made a drastic statement ,it looks a lot beefier
Looking good! You've gotten me into the plash palatka game. I've been using them to cover the gear in the back of my truck, or my bike/other stuff on my trips to the mountains in Colorado. Great little multi-purpose tarps!
You also need a winch, radio with a big antenna so you can talk to Mama back home, need a little trailer to drag behind it slide on the snow. Daddy got a good helper troll
Looking great Lars!
Nice paint.... AWSOME!
I can see and feel your excitement with the project. It really looks awesome. It reminds me a lot of the old DKW jeep that we had when I was little. 3 cylinder two stroke motor, 4 wheel drive. Looked a lot like your beauty
Thank you :) I did not know about a small DKW jeep. Interesting.
|DKW Munga Gelaendewagen. German build between 1956 and 1968. A lot of fun
Brilliant well done, as we say in England your a Jack of all trades. impressive.👍👍👍😁🙌
you have a good rig there! not too high and to too large of tires.and steel wheels are just fine ! and love the new tires as well.
Well Lars , the more I see the better I like it , and a very nice color scheme on the paint as well.
Thank you very much. On cam the colors look a bit brighter than in real life.
The vehicle is looking really good... Wish they still made it and sold it world wide as a ATV...
There is so much I like about it for off road. Good to see you happy with it. Lots of nice adventures in the future.
Just in case... Good to make a few security tricks to keep unauthorized people from starting and stealing it.
Hide an extra switch so the engine can't be started...
You can even make a clutch lockout so the clutch won't engage until lock is removed
You can make a cable going to a lever that once you push the clutch in, you activate the cable and a metal lever holds the clutch disengaged
You can make a mechanical lockout to lock the brakes too...
All can be done with no keys or padlocks, just mechanical tricks
You never know when someone wants your vehicle more then you do
Good to "not" show the tricks on youtube (^_^) hehehe
Looking great brother, you have done such a good job!! I can't wait to see it with the soft top on!
What a great looking vehicle min Dansk Bror! :-) You and your lille helper made me smile ... I used to hang out with min Far and do exactly the same thing when I was her age. haha Looking forward to your first road trip! ... or I should say, 'lack of road' trip :-)
Around the 3:30 mark, The Little Pink Troll was Just dying to hop in and go for a ride....lol
Awesome, thank you for your time Lars
That thing is popping Lars!! Now you need to paint a big red star on the tail gate with the Survival Russia logo and it will be insane! 👍🏻 Oh yes, and put a gun rack behind the seat with your Kalash mounted on it. I already have Luaz 969M envy! 😜
Yes I got to find a spot for a SR logo. I have to look into if gun racks are legal here :)
Logica redux you are wrong the Gun rack should go between the steering wheel and the wind shield for dangerous game ala the African great white Hunters. it is more accessible their . Lol I have a bit of envy as well I can see a new paint job coming up for the Lada
Logica redux I would suggest a baikal MP221 double rifle in 30-06 or maybe 45-70
I have one and they are the bomb for quick shooting and would certainly go with the great white hunter theme
Huntarama - Both are potent rounds! I haven't seen the rifle you speak of, but I did see a Baikal Survival rifle being sold at a gun show awhile back. It was chambered in 12 ga and 7.62x39 in an over/under configuration. Didn't have the change to pick one up though. I do own two Baikal Makarov pistols. One is the standard blued steel and the other is nickel plated. Baikal makes good stuff.
logica redux - the Mp221 is baikals double rifle (side by side) I paid $800 nz . Its unique by the fact that you can regulate the barrels yourself which is quite important for a double rifle. gun writters dont like them because they make their $20000 double rifles look pretty ordinary when it comes to accuracy. Ive owned 4 baikals and they have all been top rifles. I have a single shot .223 also that shoots about 1/2 inch groups that cost me 300 brand new. They certainly make good rifles and shot guns . Although their triggers are diabolical . I think they have stopped brining them into the states
If it has only soft top, might want to buy plastics tarp, just for when it is park outside for a long time. The soft top usually are leaking water and stuff. The inside seat will all get moldy.
Really happy to see this project getting close to a successfull finish. Let me know if you wanted some cool board blade forged, it would be fun to see it in the future vids.
congratulations, the machine is shaping up well. and man the pink troll is growing like a weed!
It's been great watching the SRV come together!
you have a great little helper there 😊😊😊😊😊
Looking good. Just add some black and brown to that camy pattern.
That's one awesome truck!!! Love the paint job !!
Love that thing. It's got a crazy approach angle! you could climb damn near anything with enough torque.
I don't remember you ever saying anything about it, does it have a heater?
Yes, you hug the engine
I believe (Lars correct me if I am wrong) it has an independent heater that runs on fuel, it is that silver cylinder in the left upper engine compartment.
Looking good Lars. You,ll be driving in no time.
Amazing work bro, well done lars
glad i'm catching up on all the videos iv missed
: ))
She's coming together nicely!
Thank you Lars and troll.
The SR vehicle is coming along nicely. Thank you and take care. Paul.
Recon the bigger tyres will weaken the drive considerably, But Lars looks bloody awesome. cheers
They are not that much bigger and wider. Also I have changed the gear ratio in all the portal hubs. One advantage of having portal hubs :)
Lars you prove to us every day that life in Russia is no different than here in Canada. Keep up the good work. 👍🇨🇦
Thats an awesome vehicle...nice work Lars
Awesome video as always Lars!
It's coming out great!
Your wife has been doing the camo painting, right? She's done an absolutely amazing job on it! It looks fantastic!
It'll be great to finally see it all fully together and running soon!
Yes she have done the camo, which is actually not 100% done yet :) Thanks buddy!
Survival Russia
Ok, sweet! She's really good at it!
Yeah, I've noticed the hood and front portion of the vehicle is more done than the back half.
Aye, no problem Lars!
Great looking SRV for sure and will look awesome once it is completed.
this is like a great book.I can not wait to finish.
I can't wait to take a trip in the green monster!
I look forward to your uploads and blah blah blahs every day. Who needs a $100 cable bill when there are people like you.
I'm developing a real interest for woodworking and oh my! There are just so many quality TH-cam videos on all aspects of maker culture.
nice weather to work outside buddy,it coming nicely together
YES!!! Flecktarn, awesome choice my friend.
Very nice job, looks like all your work really paid off. I miss off road driving, but between not owning a 4WD anymore and the State and National Parks constantly closing trails, it isn't an option. I still can't help but think about the possibilities of your buggy. It looks like it has good clearance and is small enough to get through narrow trails. It also looks like it is pretty light, so getting it unstuck from most situations doesn't look too tough.
Are you planning on putting a winch on your buggy, or perhaps carrying a come along with you?
The green is a bit bright for me, but the vehicle's turned out looking good so far, man.
Almost there. Next the 18 inch subwoofers. :)
Yes! Been waiting for this one Lars :D
That's such a cool Russian veichle,I'm jealous
It is actually UKRAINIAN manufactured albeit, possibly during the Soviet era, I couldn't say for sure not knowing the date of manufacture, but it definitely NOT RUSSIAN. wink.
Next year's project should be a snow cat one of the Soviet versions that held a platoon of men and stored enough diesel barrels to go to the North Pole in relative comfort. That wat you an go moose,. Carbon or raindeer hunting for.meat.
Looking good!!
That soft-top frame seems to take ages to mount ... Did this ever come with quick-mounts of sorts? Like, slot it in, tighten some nuts, done?
It's not too bad. The frame is not really meant to be taken on and off a lot, as part of the the soft-top frame supports the windshield ;)
I see. Oh well. Thanks, awesome channel and project to follow!
You have your top notch helper with you, it will be awesome soon!
It's really looking good
Seriously jealous!!! Love this little truck! How soft is the suspension though? And wheel travel seems short with the taller tire combination?
You're right but more tire sidewall will add some cushioning. Plus he can air down the tires, he should add a small compressor and a winch too .
Thanks Lars!
Nice, really beginning to like this thing, interesting camo pattern like one of your hats
Looks awesome buddy , love the Belgian camo big time , it really suits it.
You would be stuffed without the pink troll, and you know it! ,,, Cheers Lars. 🐶
Coming along nicely now mate 👍🏽👍🏽
I have to say, this is pretty awesome.
Just want to say hello to the "pink troll" from Alberta Canada.
The pink troll is getting taller...she will be driving that rig before you know it.
I can't wait for "off road vehicle survival"
Are you adding a plate or whatever in front and below the engines bottom pulley?
Nearly there Lars and looking like a very capable off road motor, atb.
Looking good!
Living the dream my friend. С Богом.
Your wife should make them watch and subscribe to your videos, because it's the best way to learn a language.
Тачка огонь! 🔥 🔥🔥
FREE FIREWOOD! That's a good deal!
Free electricity and firewood is not too shabby :) Have a great weekend Fred.
