The mechanical Miku reminds me of Calne Ca, though design-wise it is much closer to the mobile dolls from build divers and suffers from the same uncanny valley problems. Definitely prefer the frame music girl to this version.
FYI This kit falls under the Frame Artist line A new line they coined So most likely we could see other Vocaloids or musician/idol characters under this line too In The future

I just got and built this and I have a question... Are the shoes loose for you too? The shoes keep sliding right off all on their own on mine. It's really annoying when I had her on my desk for a bit laying on her side, and I had to look all over my floor because when I looked back, she was missing a foot.
I would take a little tiny bit of tape and wrap it around the peg, then when you put the foot on it should be tight. I didn’t have an issue with mine but that’s an easy fix 👍
for those wondering why Miku's robotic form looks similar to the Mobile Suit form of Mobile Doll Sarah and May from Gundam Build Divers well they share the same designer, Fumikane Shimada.
I'm a HUGE fan of the Mobile Doll aesthetic, so I'm really looking forward to this one! ...Whenever it ships.

You do not need that. That’s probably just listed because some of those parts are used in one of the example photos maybe

That price doesn't seem to match up with the size of the kit or the number of accessories. Is that just the Miku tax, or is my frame of reference off?
Licensing, and Kotobukiya's doesn't make as much copies compare to bandai. If it sold out, it's gone.
it's a pretty typical price point for this type of kit from Kotobukiya. probably a tiny bit miku tax

there are some Virtual On model kits! I was thinking Koto made them but I guess it's Hasegawa?
