  • Step Aerobics Intermediate is a fast pace high energy step workout at 132 BPM for 30 minutes for those short on time but need to get a good workout, burn fat, help drop some pounds and keep you fit. This workout consist of advance L Step, Split Basis, Step Turn, Over The Top and more. You can modify the moves to fit your fitness level.

    It is advised to do cardio exercise at least 20 minutes a day with at least of one day of full body strength training to be fit. Also be sure to stretch before and after each workout.

    To anyone who thinks step aerobics are for older people only, I have to disagree. I’ve been doing these off and on since my late 20’s and have had much better results and ability to stick with these workouts than I ever had though any other form of cardio. Paul is great at what he does and I’m thankful he’s put these workouts online.

    Your workouts are not just for baby boomer generation or senior citizens! I love your energy and enthusiasm. You are an inspiration. I am in my early 40's, have crohn's disease and have had so many surgeries, but I found your workouts and love them!! Thank you Coach Paul!!     Paul Eugene, u have become a household word at my house! I had been doing the 120 bpm step aerobics for a few weeks but this one popped up & I said I'll try it til I get tired. Guess what? I did the whole thing and my heart rate varied from 120-145, perfect for a woman age 67.5. I should b in good shape by Aug 14 when I turn 68 (if God permits it)

      That is great to here. I think the faster pace ones can be done if the step moves are kept simple and not complex. Happy early 68th birthday.

    Coach Paul, I did this workout this morning and absolutely loved it! Thirty minutes is a good time for aerobics and I LOVE that you added a clock to countdown. Thanks so much and keep moving!

      I especially like the time counter on the screen. I have to confess, I tried the twirling on the L step n tripped on my riser n fell down in slow motion! 🤣🤣🤣. Please keep them coming, love ur videos. Going to do ur new vertical one, looks fun n energetic! God bless!!

    I really enjoyed this workout. My only confusion is being "mirror" view for split basic. Get confused on which way I face.

      If you step up with the right foot, then turn left on the split.
