In today's video we finish up the attack R32 GTR. We had to button up the interior to make it ready for the track. We installed a brand new seat rail for our OMP Racing bucket seat, a JDM Safety21 roll cage, and Sabelt harnesses. The GTR is now ready to hit the dyno!

this car is one i've been waiting to see on the track for a while and so happy it's almost there!! i say 450-475 on the dyno, this r32 has went through a lot and it's beautiful to what it's come to be
So happy to see they were able to get the GTR up and running in a relatively short turnaround time! Can't wait to see this thing rip around a track!
Also, at 2:00 it looks like Dut is about to hit the fattest Dab this world has ever seen!

P.S. I love the quick release steering wheel but there looks like there is a little play in the hub which is typical with those bearing style hubs. My only suggestion is going with a a quick release system that uses a spline hub. They are a lot more sturdy and lighter, on most occasions.

Ruddys got an evo 1 with an evo3 front end. Its super easy to mix up because of that.
Plus Tommy’s bought half the different evos there are at this point.

Hey
As a temporary fix for more head room, you can remove the seat padding to sit lower. Maybe it would be just enough to be comfortable with the helmet on.
As far as your cage and the helmet, yeah that’s a concern for sure but just like the Tokyo drift Evo you can put that foam on it, that’s what other race teams do.
You can find that foam at Home Depot as pipe insulation, a good short term solution but yeah

One other thing about the helmet vs. cage issue, turning your head to the right can be a problem if it's too close when sitting straight. Power guesstimate is 525whp peak on E85 (assuming you've got enough injector)!

You defo need to put a chassis mounted shifter like a CAE or an IRP in the GT-R man... You won't regret it
Hope you put backing plates on the seatbelt eyelets!, I thought you went straight to E85 first run and needed to start with 91 ideally then tune on E85 after?. I'm guessin on E you'll hit 555hp and around 400 torque, on 91 I'd say 420hp 365 torque.
Grants car is a Toyota Mark II and I believe Rudniks old EVO is an EVO II

On E85 and a built top end I can see it making about 500hp and 415lb ft of torque.

Have you tried shutting the door with the window up yet? That seat looks like it’s gonna be real close to glass
Yeah it shuts with tons of clearance
When you go to a welded in cage, i would have someone custom make you one. Reason being is because there are space and angle requirements for certified cages for racing and most people who build custom cages puts the seat in and takes measurements off you being in the car with a helmet on and all.

Fun Fact, I don't know why companies bolt their cages to the rear wheel wells, it doesn't add rigidity. If they were bolted to the rear strut towers then yes then it would make a difference.
