When the Japanese do something right, it's beyond awesome
Indeed.
Actually....if you know Anime, you will notice that a lot of the parts of the intro was lifted from other intros with the X-men just put into the scenes in question. IE I am pretty sure that the one scene in which Jubilee winks is from...not sure how the English name of the show is, but roughly translated Cateyes (it is about three female thieves). It still looks cool, but the American one is certainly more creative and therefore more memorable. The Japanese one looks like a dozen other Japanese intros mashed together, and is therefore kind of forgettable unless you see it from a western perspective.

The Japanese intro is Xtraordinary. The group that made the music is called Ambience and the name of the song is Rising. I've been playing it non stop!!

Also love how the guys who did the Japanese intro probably took one look at Cable and said "Yep he's going in the intro!" And the directors of the show probably said. "He's not even a main ch... (See's intro)...okay you can keep him in!"

Especially for the likes of Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star, Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun, etc.
The Japanese saw the intro and were like "Hmm...You could do better." xD
At least both openings were cool and were for a cool show. You should also see the japanese version of Transformers animated. The opening makes the show look 10x more awesome than it actually is.

And Japan gives another example of its supiriority. That was amazing
I used to LOVE Gambit. The TV series made me go into the comics to research him. Gambit has such a complex character and past and yet was more of a background character in the TV series.

Kisscartoon is a great place to watch old cartoons that Netflix takes down....if you're willing to become a bit of a buccaneer. Also you guys should take a page out of Blind Wave they do reaction to shows by putting only bits and pieces of the episodes of the series by cutting out the non exciting reaction parts sure it takes quite a bit of editing but it would be cool since you guys are really good at reaction and discussion so i'm sure you guys could do something similar with shows you haven't watched before for example have you seen the Lucifer tv show? If you haven't you could do it by making a highlight reel of the reactions and just make the majority of the reaction a review and discussion.
In my time...if you wanted to see new anime you had to wait for Saturday Night Toonami. You had to stay up late too past midnight once Toonami was canceled. XD
Another cartoon that had an amazing Japanese into was Transformers: Animated. JAM Project is god.

If there is one thing you can say about Japanese intros, it's that they definitely know how to make any intro! The US intro is a classic that will always be in our hearts, but you gotta hand it to the Japanese intro too!

I just got back from a hard Day's work as a pizza man delivery man in my 2003 Toyota Camry. Got my 2 Sapporo beers from 711, and then watching random TH-cam recommedations. O look it's my child hood X-Men fox kids on honest trailer pops up. Then Japanese version comes on at the end of this. Mind fucking blown!

If you want a good anime intro, check out black lagoon. The lyrics are bizarre, borderline nonsense, and it is amazing. Show's pretty good, too, some of the best dub work I've ever heard.

The Japanese intro removed the atomic bomb explosion in the US version. I am sure for historical reasons. That would be appropriate because of WW 2 atomic bomb tragedy for them.

i would actually love to see you watch the X-men anime that was made a few years ago. it has a scene where wolverine gets stopped in airport.
They really should have a little tab bar to the side that you can click on so you can just skip to whatever tangent they go on.
