I feel the same as you Karen. I really have no need to add to my collection right now. I think my collection is complete really. HOWEVER, haha! I still intend on purchasing a Staub dutch oven at some point. Like you, I use my pots, I'm not collecting, I needed new pots and fell into a Le Creuset hole. Very interesting comparison of the pots.

Yes, I was already replacing pots and pans when Le Creuset and I met, LOL. Then we became inseparable for a while, lol, but here lately as I take stock of all that I have already I really have no need to add anything really......unless something fun comes along...LOLLOL, but even then I have to ask myself will I get the use out of it to make it worth the price point. Thank you for watching!

LOL @ Shock horror! I love my Le Creuset, but I do have mostly Staub, so I agree with the selection. I remember you bought a skillet. If you want to try a Staub dutch, they're running their visual imperfections sale. A 5.5 is like $160. The pieces I've bought from such a sale, looked perfect except for a pin hole on one. If someone is extra nervous about what condition theirs may be in, I tell them to go with a matte black piece, so they aren't worried about any colored glaze imperfections...although mine have been perfect. No spots or color variations.

LOL, currently I have been looking at more items from Staub, I think it's because the skillet does so well on the grill that it makes me interested in how the staub dutch would react to the grill. I am definitely going to take a look at the imperfections sale, sounds like they have some amazing pieces available!Thank you for letting me know!!!

I have both Staub and Le Creuset. I purchased 2 Staub from the “ visual imperfections” sale as well and they’re perfect

@@CamellasCorner Thank you for sharing your experience, it definitely helps to know that most items likely just have slight imperfections. This was so helpful!

@shock horror 😂😂😂. I am a Staub person. My best friend is a Le Creuset person. I was able to find her 7.5 qt. Le Creuset for $250. I must agree Le Creuset screams luxury because of the brand reputation and prestige. There is something behind the name. I love my Staub items and l like that l have been able to score them at resonable prices. To be honest, both brands are expensive. I am at the point where l am really considering my purchases wisely. Looking over my small humble collection of cookware I see how expensive the love of quality cookware can be.😢

Yassssss LOL!!! I totally agree both brands are expensive and I have so much already that I truly do not have need of anything else (unless they come out with something absolutely fabulous, LOL). I am really taking a step back and evaluating what I decided to add at this point.
