I'm absolutely overwhelmed by all the comments I've received over the past 12 years! ❤ This was a super casual experiment I just "put out there" when I was brand new to music making. It seems to have garnered quite a bit of interest. For the few who have used this song in their videos / performances, I'd love to hear / see them! Do comment with links to your videos! Anyone who still wants to use this song, please feel free to do so! I lost the original mp3 many years ago (sorry, life happened), but I'm planning to recreate this from scratch when I find the time (and create more tracks).
That's awesome! Can't wait to listen to what a newly finished song would sound like, this is by far the coolest clocks song out there because of the different ticks and chimes! Really creative, I hope that creativity is passed on your new tracks. Keep it up!

This soundtrack never stops amazing me. I can very well imagine this to be in some game or movie/tv-series/animation. This sounds very good and has good rhythm and timing is also good and it doesn't start repeating the same sounds. Nice work and be proud of this master piece (Y)
I really love this music you made, I now use it when I play some tabletop rpg with my friends (only private use of music, of course), now when my players hear it they go "oh shit" because they know stuff's about to get real when it plays ha ha
This is great! Myself and my year one university drama group used this in one of our pieces for an ensemble group assessment. It was exactly what we were after and needed. Thanks
For everyone asking for the mp3, I'm afraid I've lost it. I've changed my PC multiple times over the past few years and somehow I can't seem to find the original file. Sorry about that!
Thank you for the info! I tried the old link with no luck. I'm thinking of using this one for a school project (a choreography), if that's okay with you!
This music track has got thousands of fans, including myself, who want to use 'Clocks' in their projects. It would be great if you could find a way to get back the highest quality MP3 or WAV file of this track and give us a download link. I really hope you could do it.
I love this! This would make an amazing TV show or video game soundtrack dealing with time...like Doctor Who?! Imagine this overlayed on the traditional Doctor Who song, huh??
This is a pretty good song. You started out with simple clicks and whirs and then built on and transformed them without straying too far but just enough to form a really piece of good foreground music. I rather enjoyed how my search lead me here but I still haven't found a song made entirely by clicks, whirs, and all sorts of other clockwork sounds; Would anyone have an idea as to where I could find something like that?
Wanda's theme from the video game Don't Starve Together comes close, using both ticking and the chimes of a grandfather clock. th-cam.com/video/qvHJQe6oexI/w-d-xo.html
Ha! I made a song called Tempus Fugit (Time Flies, in Latin) and used similar methods, although yours is much more utilizing of actual clock sounds. I used the exact same image as the cover photo!

@@karla3153 the alligator that constantly haunts him has a ticking clock inside of it
At the Drama class we play Peter Pan and when the alligator appears this music plays and we dance as a alligator haha
I just discovered this almost 13 years after it was posted, and the soundtrack is amazing. It would fit so well in the opening credits for a TV show.
This actually still sounds pretty good, even through TH-cam and in 2020.
Ikr? this songs legit slaps, especially at 1.25 speed

Dude this is one of the best clock/time themed sound track songs I have ever heard, i love it.
I listened to this music when it was uploaded 9 years ago and now is 14 years ago.. how fast time goes..
The clock is always ticking
This is great! Myself and my year one university drama group used this in one of our pieces for an ensemble group assessment. It was exactly what we were after and needed. Thanks
Beautiful lullaby for a noble vampiric madman....love it
This sounds like it would be a perfect theme song for a mash up of Steampunk and Shadowrun.
BADASS i searched my ass up for a song with a ticking clock in background.... this exceed my expectations by FAR!!!! thank u for this great song :D
This is brilliant and helps me focus. I turn this on loop when i'm playing AP Zillean on Leage of Legends
I love how something so old can have message from a few months ago. That says how good this song is.
this deserves to be the theme to a castlevania clock level awsome job dude
This would be a great theme for Time from Alice Through the Looking Glass.
That is so true.
Director Krennic You beat me to the Alice comment.
Or a series of unfortunate events
This would be a great theme for my life.
I just need to learn two...maybe three things about any kind of technology. Or math. Or something.
It's exactly what I was looking for while writing. Nice work!
I'm doing this for a school dance comp. and it's awesome. So sophisticated and layered, you can do all sorts of dances styles with this!

this is so useful for drama thank you for making this
I was just looking for plain clockwork, but this... this is amazing!
This remember me a funny clock man in a parallel universe russia that wanted Alexei alive after some time.
Hail the nightmare.
Taboritsky, I heard Alexi was in Germania!
Seriously, you should become a professional composer. This is amazing!

Or you could download it? And credit the artist.............
The problem is that the highest-quality file is missing. There's still a lower-quality file available, but it suffers from TH-cam compression.
This needs to be a theme for a game a boss that was once your allied you betrayed now he's reversing the time to take it back
Hmm... Interesting
thank you so much, such a great job on this.
This is brilliant completely saved my game thanks so much
