Ugly electricity poles and poor curbs on the road sides.

Asokoro is beautiful. Whao! Apart from the aquatic scenery of Ikoyi, i'd say Asokoro is probably better.
The Garki business area is ok, but the residential buildings of NNPC staff is rather disappointing; surely they nation's oil managers can do better. More videos of Abuja, if possible.
    Great video! Thanks.

Great job Tolu but i must admit this is quite underwhelming- perhaps due to the hype? I was expecting Miami level of beauty for the acclaimed 'most expensive place in Nigeria'. In addition, urban development is an equal responsibility of both the government and the developers but it does appear it's the responsibility of the latter. A major give away is the installation of overhead lines in such a 'posh' neighbourhood which I found quite embarrassing.
We need to invest in horticultural training as well as road civil construction. It's always so easy to identify Nigerian cities due to poor horticulture and road civils (The footway and Kerbs are not it at all)

Abuja is still evolving. The Budget of Florida alone is more than the budget of the whole Nigeria

Having stayed in Abuja since 1999, Asokoro is overpriced, it was the first rich settlement in Abuja but now I can say it’s not even in top 5 for me. When you have places like Jahi, Katampe, Katampe Extension, Dawaki, Guzape, Maitama.
I think it deviated and got a little bit too commercial.
What we really lack is good leadership and Nigeria in general will really take a leap. Buhari really took the nation back with his mediocrity and cluelessness

Nice. You passed through my daily commute and even passed by my office. I'm happy you did a street view of parts of Abuja, cos I remember how you'd refer to certain parts of Lagos as beautiful and I'd cringe, Lol.
By the way you also passed by a prominent facility, the IOM office in Asokoro. Kudos.

@@dadamichael8068 Cry me a river. How did I condemn Lagos? You hate to hear the truth and call it condemnation. That is we why aren't fixing our problems because all we want to hear is praise, even when things are bad. That is not the way to move forward.
It is very sad we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel because of people like you who are satisfied with poor development yet cry foul when called out.

Will you kindly stop using the word "guys", so regularly in your narration. Some of your viewers are females, and some of us are older than you. Better if you said "Ladies and Gentlemen", or "Viewers", or something more generic than guys. It shows a lack of grasp of the English language and a shortage of vocabulary. I enjoy the choice of subjects and the objectivity with which you approach your presentation, but I get turned off by the "guys". It's just inappropriate in a forum like this. Thank you for showcasing Abuja. Can you expand your focus to other state capitals, or places that tourist would enjoy visiting in the vicinity of Abuja. That would be nice. Keep up the good work.

    • @ToluNazzal
      @ToluNazzal  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Thank you I am honestly trying to stop it but it just keeps coming out. I use it as a slang informally for both females n males but I realised I have a good number of older people thats why I am not comfortable with it anymore.
Thank you for bringing it to my knowledge I am now certain it makes some people uncomfortable and I am sorry about that. Will try to work on it and thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate you for being part of this channel.

No one says viewers or ladies and gentlemen this is TH-cam not your English class. Do you have 0 communication skills? For her to talk like that sounds incredibly weird and archaic on the internet, seek help. And stop demanding behavior from anyone, you don’t pay her or sign her paychecks. Idiot.

      Tut tut tut!!
Tolu keep using Guys as much as you like!
I love it ! I love it so very much!
People don't know that it can be used for both male and female in a collective group!

@@ToluNazzalLet the older people go and sit somewhere!
No one is born old !
We all grow from childhood to adulthood!
So what if anyone is old ? In fact there's such a thing as ageism where people disregard older people!
Now here in Nigeria, it's reverse ageism...some people want to bully younger people because they are older!!
      Makes no sense!
Tolu you be yourself, if people don't like your content, let them go elsewhere!!
