Great lesson by the way 👍
Being rich/wealthy doesn't mean you're better than everybody else because life is not a competition. Rather be compassionate of others than to be overly competitive & egotistical because that attitude won't get you anywhere in life. A better life can be what you make of it today.💯
Thank you, Dhar Mann, for giving us the lessons that we needed to learn & the bigger picture that we needed to see clearly. You are an inspiration to us all.👑💯
It's true but how can i explain it to a kid in my school,he always humilates other kid(including me) by his pen collection or other things coz he is so rich,if you know something or have a tip, reply me
fr they b makin the wrong ppl rich🤦🏽♀️
This is a bot isent it?
Being rich does make you better at things like how you made money
This is very inspiring!
Being rich doesn't give youthe right to downgrade and humiliate other people. Parents mustn't compare or peer pressure kids to do things which they don't like but helping and supporting them to follow their dreams. Thanks Dhar for the inspiration
You're welcome! Stay tuned for more positivity and inspiration.
@@DharMann omg hi dhar! I totally agree with the comment!
**You**
brokie attitude
Honestly, I absolutely despise it when parents force something on to you, blame you if it isn’t going well, and especially when you tell them that you don’t even want to do it and they tell you “ I’m doing what’s best for you, you’ll thank me when you’re older.”
Edit: Some of you guys are missing the point. Obviously if someone is doing bad at something like math or English then you should help them. BUT what I’m talking about is if someone is already good at those thing and you still force them to do extra work or make someone do something as unnecessary as playing the violin, ( if it’s not what they’re into )
Also STOP TRYING TO COME UP WITH COMEBACKS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO WITH WHAT IT IS TALKING ABOUT LIKE “I obviously wanna chill and watch Netflix but I can’t because we all have stuff we don’t want to do but have to anyway” To the person who said this watch the video and tell me do you have to play tennis or the violin to succeed in life no, no you don’t and stop trying to comment stuff about things that aren’t relevant to my comment.
and then say "you're supposed to enjoy your young years" while forcing you to have absolutely no free time at all
True true

She’s so right about everyone having their own paths in life. College isn’t meant for everyone. And she never should’ve gave in to her mothers demands

Many Asian parents and children can relate to this story. The pressure by parents on kids to excel can sometimes be overwhelming. At least the mother chose the daughter’s happiness over wealth and prestige.
exactly. my parents want me to take academic courses just like my cousins and we will have a "better future and a better life" but what I want is performing on stage. there will be time that I will prove to them that they're wrong

I agree but still it helps them kinda
As well as the message of never torturing yourself just to please others, the other message is to be grateful for what you have and never compare your life to another. Being rich isn't important; you should be grateful you have family, a roof over your head etc, and you should never pressure those you love just to please others as comparing to others is never healthy; the most important is supporting your peers or children to follow what they want in life! I love this video and I love Katherine Norland! This was a great video and it sort of reminds me of the love and support I always get from my family no matter what!

To future graduating seniors,
There’s nothing wrong with going to community college. If you’re not sure what field you want to go into, you can take classes there to help you out, and it’s a great way to save money so you don’t end up with a bunch of debt. Also, night classes, online classes and financial aid are your best friends as well!
Sincerely,
A junior college student😄

I definitely needed to hear this. I'll be graduating next year and have been thinking about community college but am hesitant because it's looked down on so much.
