I still love mine. Had it for 15 years. I think that the sounds and the ability to edit them still stacks up against anything new out at the moment. I cannot find any good reason to replace it.
Being able to use the knobs to adjust the attack/etc on some of those pads if they're ever too fast - funny, i was typing that right before you did it haha. Cheers.
Cool, i want to buy it, how does one do this? Kinda new to this. So i download it put it on the memory card and then it will work or you need to attach it to pc in order to play it?
Cool. Not many demos on this synth. I have the M3 module which I think is pretty similar. I use it only for the evolving pad sounds and Karma. I’ll never get rid of it. It has a light kind of sound to it. But it’s not fun to program.
@@bobcatt2294 Maybe its good to read description before write strange messages? We said nothing about custom sounds and this is demo of M50 internal sounds suited for Ambient genre. In the description we put a list of used programs in this video.

Is this still worth the money. I use a lot of DAWs and begun with creating synths on there yet I've been looking at this keyboard a bit and I at least wanted an opinion before I commit to buying. I know there's more modern stuff now but Idk where to begin looking.

@@JoshuaJamzz it is velocity sensitive but no aftertouch. I hope that helps.

It looks like presets which covers ambient genres was made in a huge rush :)

Mine has the main board out - so I got the M-3. Waiting to trouble-shoot that main board, Korg installed some dodgy caps in it. Thumbs up.

@@LFOstore yes, it seems a pretty common issue with M50s. Not a expensive repair, though, but needs taking it for servicing.
I heard an M50 locally, quite badass. Similar quality and synth structure as Krome if I recall correctly, maybe a bit better in sound quality.

ofcourse they are touch sensitive.
