I did something VERY similar for my wedding decor :) I just used red cellophane instead of using the tissue under... and then I used flower leaves from some silk flowers. I loved it.
Nice work! I already knew how to it, but by watching your tutorial, I learned how to wrap an arrangement with cellophane in a much easier manner. Thank you for this vid:)
I also really enjoyed watching this video, it at a more slower pace for the viewer to watch. It was a good idea that person showed that even a guy could make this gift.:-)
That is such a clever idea! I enjoyed this tutorial a lot! You're great at these tutorials... I like how you coached your hubby into making it too and gave him a thumbs up! Btw, I've never seen a pull up bow before... That's amazing! Lol! Hugs!
So I make these often and have been making them for years now. The only real thing that I like to do different is that I use red candy wrappers to wrap the kisses. Creates a nicer looker rosebud.
We made these for my daughters wedding as favors but we used red celophane paper it gives the red more depth, also wrapped florist tape at the base of the bud with one side cut in pikes to look like the green base of a real rosebud. we made 350 and stored them in the fridge.
I'm doing this for my wife for Mother's day! Thank you so much for this great idea. I didn't want to spen 100$ on roses that die quickly, She likes sweets more than roses haha
@CraftyLoops Hi Lee, I found the Hershey Kisses at Asda, but there's also a couple of retro sweet shops that are selling them now.. If worst comes to worst, I've found them online before too.. :) I must say, the ones you see on the video are the almond hershey and they are delicious.. lol :) xoxo
Yes, Red Cellophane is definitely an option, but I figured using tissue means you can make them any color you like, and tissue paper is a lot easier to find than colored cellophane.. :) tfw xoxo
I purchased this one ready made, but I am thinking about making a video on how to make it. Subscribe to receive notification when I post new videos. :)
OMG can we get Hershey Kisses in the UK? Ive never seen them, not in Northern Ireland anyway. Where did you find them Becca, if you don't mind me asking? That leaf fold you did is very similar to an origami flower tutorial. I have a tutorial for it on my blog, I have the video to edit yet (Grrrr to video editing, heehee)! But they make gorgeous wee flowers. This is a lovely wee idea Becca, verybeautiful and yummy at the same time, lol. Well done to Hubby too, his rose was perfect. Lee x
Dude, this is not even that easy. I tried it and it totally failed. I'm a bit disappointed and it has really brought my confidence down. You shouldn't try this. Just keep watching the videos and feeling sorry for yourself.

TFS!!! This will make my mom smile so much. (my daddy passed just recently) thanks for a great idea!!

Jared she used pencil to mark the centermeters for cutting the paper

Would you be able give me all the name of the materials ?
Whats the name of the green tape ? i really need to know
Alguien sabe como se llama la cinta verde que utiliza ?
It's called florist tape.
where can u find flores tape?
I have a list of links for the supplies in the description box :)
you have such a cute voice
+Leticia Moran Awn, Thank you Leticia! :)
while she was using the ruler she marked with her pencil where she needed to cut or fold
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
I Wouldn't recommend using glue around the food for this project.
@@CraftsDotCupCake ???
you weren't clear on how to fold and cut the paper. I literally had to measure every single one.
I started with Woodglut plans.
The Stodoys site offers plans for this and many other interesting items.
Hahaha butt
