hi i just bought the UR22C audio interface, i cant seem to find the download for the DSPMIXFX UR-C Sotfware. the mixer is nowhere to be found. i only have the plugins for the chstrip etc. please help!
Thank you Dom! I’m about to buy the ur44c or the ur816c and this was helpful. Had the Ur22c for some days, but had to give it back because of the low headphone output. The bigger models I think would be more than enough as they have louder headphone outputs. Even the ur24c has a louder headphone output. This morphing channel strip is amazing and can work pretty well for both beginners (with the single button mode) and pros. I even used it as master eq/glueing compressor. And the fact that you can use it as standalone while for example recording a video or doing live on your iPad , together with the pretty good Yamaha reverb is amazing. If only these ur-c series had a higher dynamic range in the AD part, they would be 100% unbeatable. But they are far more than enough already.
@@michael4196 The ur22c IS for sure bus powered and a great little interface overall. Even with the problem of the low headphone output I would choose this over any other interface in this price range. The preamps are pretty good and the onboard DSP FX make your life much easier. You can use them just for monitoring or even record with them and they give very good results for EQing, compressing and reverb. And they are SOOOO simple to use. I used both the BEYER DT770 250Ohm headphones and the AUDIO TECHNICA M40fs 65ohm headphones. The BEYERs are very difficult to drive, even with more expensive audio interfaces. The ATs were every time at a very good volume for listening to music, but for tracking, when I had to record something at -12 to -18 db’s, the volume was disappointing. So my advice would be the following: If your main purpose is a sound upgrade for listening to music, mastering tracks and even some mixing, then the UR22c is ok. If you’ll be tracking vocals or other low level sources, then go to the UR24c which will give you a 2x100mW headphone amp and also two more outputs to use if needed. The difference in price is small, but you’re gonna be more sure for the results. I hope I helped. Greetings from Greece!
I just ordered my UR44c but i must warn that in production we often end up mistaking the louder variant of a take as "better" there is a huge self betray ongoing in us, so be warned. I would have liked that the presenter regulates the output so that the "punchier" sound, which maybe is that, is punchier without increasing the volume.
@Dom Sigalas, Do you know how to disable the DSP effects in Cubase in the "Inspector" field? Everytime when im making a new audio tracks in Cubase the UR22C pops up in mine inspector field. I would like to use the native version and not the DSP version! Thankyou!
Hi, why is it that when I use my sweet morphing channel strip (m), it makes the left side louder? I mean more output is heard from the left speaker although the audio is pan in the center.
you could certainly put a channel strip like this on your main. Maybe run it a little more transparently and don't hit it as hard but using it on individual tracks as well as the main could increase everything gelling together.
I have a question. In which way the side chain helps (or how this side chain works) if you are using just 1 channel?. I read that a side chain compressor does not use the main signal (in this case the channel that have this effect activated). And what happens when you use the 2 channels of the UR22C?
@@DomSigalas Thank you for the quick reply Dom. I have a problem on iOS. I purchased UR22C (to use until the next gen UR-RT is released), i downloaded the software on iOS including Cubasis LE, but when i record, there is nothing being printed. Monitoring is on, sound is coming from the headphones. When i tried it using Garageband, it records no problem. I spent all of yesterday with this problem and got nowhere. I am interested in learning Cubasis as the Waves stuff can be useful. Regards Pete
All of your videos are just so fabulous, your enthusiasm and clear instruction really explain everything so well! Thank you Dom.

love this channel strip. sounds amazing on most 80s vinyl...
What is the sidechain section for? Where is the sidechain going to?
I have UR824 and Cubase Artist 11. Why I cannot put the channel strip (morph) in the channel strip?

Anyone know how many channel ur816c dsp channel strip can be used? I have old ur 44 its 6 channel input but only can use 4 channel strip
Ur22c vs ur24c who the best sir ???
Can I insert this channel strip to my main output, not just the mic input? I don't see that option in the interface.

Hey there, is this Big Sur you’re running on your Mac? Thx
Hi Dom I can't see UR22c in inspector. Please what is wrong? Thank's in advance.

I am interested to know also how the sidechain DSP works
Question?
Can we use this update on the original UR series.?
I have the UR22, 44, 824
Yes! I just updated my plug-in. I have the older UR242.
HOW MANY DSP PLUGIN USEING ABLE?
10 TRACK? 20 TRACK?
i MEAN, compared to whaT? The only unique thing is the DSP function, which gives you studio options that would be very expensive otherwise.
I use this in my Drums
ur-rt disable?
Is there a new version for iPad ?
Yes!
