There were rare instances of teams crossing 300 . And this guy played like batting in the 21st century. Sor Vivian Alexander Richards was a legend in the truest sense of the word.

I've been watching cricket for 60 years. Australia and the West Indies had very good sides in the 70s & 80s. Whenever Viv dealt with thunderballs from the fearsome Lillee and Thomson the atmosphere was electric / super-charged. You just never knew what could happen. Four! Six! Six! Four! Six! Bowled! Easily the most exciting cricket I've ever seen.
He's one 1 guy whom I would always love to listen to and give 100% weightage to his opinion. An absolute champ!
