Limited possibilities utilized with unlimited creativity, knowing how barebones amiga samplers are compared to the options producers have nowadays, all culminating in absolute belters of choons.
By the end of the 90s the trance tracks seemed almost sci fi in their modernity. Then everything stagnated for years to the point those tracks still seem super modern some 25 years later and are being ripped off by the likes of Calvin Harris and Guetta.

Respect, I just turned 60 how time flies 😥 but a late bloomer, the 90's were the 60's upside down, used to crank this back in the day too, still play it occasionally at a slightly slower pitch than this,still get the chills occasionally, seems like not so long ago I was a very young and hyper 29 going on 30 y.o and much more carefree, seems age is mostly just a number but my hips strongly disagree some days. 😁

This track was the start of my house music journey. I heard it on the boat nightclub in Newcastle in 1992 and knew I wanted my life filled with dance music that lifted my soul. Bought the track, another 800 or so 12 inches followed, and got to play all my favourite tunes DJing house nights in numerous clubs. My maw and brother did the bar. I did the juice bar and cloakroom. So made a playlist of old school tunes last night. I didn't have to be on drugs to enjoy it. But it helped! Into the future!

Cameron Saunders lived round the corner from me on Salford Road in Ainsdale, Southport. I first heard this in the Kingsway in Southport when he gave it to the DJ in 1991. Amazing then... still amazing now.
I love it. The fact that no one else on my friends list on FB disturbs me. I have tried to cross my 54 year old sister over to this scene but she seems reluctant. She is scared i am guessing. I use to be scared of the stigma, then that went out the window after taking my first trip 1992 to this track lol.
Not to take anything away from the New Atlantic boys, but this is all my work, all they supplied was the vocal sample and the pan flute sample. The synth sound in the breakdowns is a Roland JX-10. All I got was a £2k remix fee lol. ‘Rhythm is a Mystery’ was my primary inspiration for this.

Love Decade unequivocally produced the best uplifting piano tracks in the early Nineties. You guys totally had your finger on the pulse with tracks like Dream on, So Real and I Feel You (how good is Abigail's voice? - that track has aged superbly, it's still killer today), all wonderfully produced, what talent and ingenuity you have. With 'I Know' you kickstarted my love of house music, which led to me DJ'ing at house nights in different clubs and giving me my life's best memories. Thank you for giving me such highs and bringing us the music.

The whole scene back then was about making tunes to take your E to the next level, now this edm shit is thrown together by sober people with no clue.
