If Classic really thinks something is wrong with how the map is structured, he should have spent those 10 months supervising Talona's development process and provide input/assistance to the contributors in-charge of building it, but he instead decided to completely outsource his work while wasting valuable time on an idiotic post-apocalyptic roleplaying game. I see clearly why people are angered about it, at this point I question if it would be better to just scrap Talona altogether and get to working on the Eastern Coast update.
Perhaps they should outline things before they create it, I'm not sure what they did but maybe planning everything through would've made the progress better than scrapping 2 maps

i can get where classic is coming from with “it not being like a city” cause even without phase 2 and 3, the first part would be the biggest map in the game, which wouldn’t make sense with the player sizes. but still, he didn’t get anyone’s feedback before, and he just scrapped it WITH it being done. Although, Classic is only changing the road layouts and is reusing models (except for a few things which he’s making extra) BUT STILL CLASSIC IS A BAD OWNER
[2nd comment] I truly agree with you on putting debris and stuff on those straight Streets. To me, they look clean and nothing were put there. They could've added stuff on the steets too, take the Battle of Berlin scenes from the 2004 movie "Downfall" as an example. I was even thinking of cars on those straight streets there like in Route 23. They re-do everything all because of the straight streets when they could've added debris there and other stuff. I was even imaging a soldier running across those Straight streets running for cover and then enemy soldier shot them before they could do so. The debris and sandbags, potholes, and other stuff would've been cover for the soldiers too. Anyways, this is what I think. Thx for reading.

I made the new tents, both styles, not the best, but I did a shit ton of creative process for models I made. The baber pole took me 2 hours, because I had to learn completely new blender concepts. I spent fucking hours on spesific things because I cared about those details, and it took me a month of spam pinging to get contributor role. And went to ask for compensation - I realized, most of the shit I made didn't make it in, but what did was still a good 6-12 hours of work. Luh spit in my face and said "I'd do this for free." probably didn't help that I worked through Scott, but the artists were supposed to get paid and they worked through scott, and when GK finally noticed and said "DM me what you made and I'll pay you." I don't have the confidence to ask for compensation anymore. I OFFERED to make a Cetus rifle remake, which has been done for months, I worked closely with Cloudy, but the only reason GK found out I finished it - or even that I made it - was because I was working on a different gun for another map and he was like "is this the cetus rifle remake" and I said it'd been done for months. Most of the shit I do- on skottsperch atleast- is optimization, taking a 3,000+ vert union and making it into a ~350 vert mesh, on a model thats used CONSTANTLY, so I save maps around 100k verts, but will I get appreciated for that? Remember guys Roland’s prairie came out on like March 3 and then acedens forest came out like a week or 2 after Rolands and talona was being worked on and was supposed to release in April and was delayed once in like late March and THEN because talona was the first time in like early April they had to create route 23 which has to be one of the worst if not THE WORST map in the game so far although they tried to make a rebalance update I don’t even know if it was released but if it did it’s sure not effective because th map is still unbalanced as ever but route 23 came out in June 2nd and meanwhile the city talona is still being worked on then they hired scotlad and some other ppl and they made Skottsperch in a month or 2 and they were working on talona which they made a really good map and they even made playtesting for it and I honestly really liked the map but then this just hit me and now talona is being recreated again we need to ban atf from classic he’s honestly way to addicted now put the guy in rehab for atf and we haven’t even heard barely anything from the vegan campaign who knows if anyone is even still actively working on it and who knows when that gets delayed
Apparently, Vega is done, but I doubt that. If it is done, then Classic should script the Vega maps, and give us that while he works on the new Talona, but he won't because he has no clue on how to manage this shit.

Honestly I always have had a ugly thought in the back of the head that Centaura was going down the same path like Wild West. In terms of lack of content, fixing and the big BIG promises that were promised. And speaking of promises remember the amount of times he has said that he will fix his server? Remember the Igor situtation? Yeah the discord was fully responsible for it. But I digress. The only difference between wild west and centaura is that wild west's progression update is 4 years late and counting. Whilst Talona is almost a year and counting. Think about it for a second. A somewhat medium sized update that shouldn't be taking so much effort and time is still in development. Because some dev wants to either keep adding new useless things to the update or just neglect the game and milk it for all that it is. If anything Tyridge77 and Classicmasternoob should marry each other. Because they are both terrible devs for the same reasons. But then there is also the lack of content to the game. Not only that but bugs and issues that are plagueing each map like Mons planus, kelson village, route 23 and capri valley. Things such as not being bothered to add more tanks or something if the fighting hits around a 40 min mark or something. To prevent the match from going on for hours. Think about how much it would help. But yet they pulled an excuse out of their whatever. Because according to them it would ''ruin the unique thing of the game'' which is a bhoolsheize excuse for not bothering to fix the maps. Speaking of the maps. Then there are other issues like the spawnkilling issue in kelson village. Which they havent done anything about at all. Nor the artillery blah blah blah. Only around 8 of the 31 or 33 maps are complete and playable. And I do not think that centaura will even get to 33 given the situation that is unfolding right now. And because of the dragged out development. It's a pathetic joke. Even though Talona might have been ''mediocre'' on release if it had not been stalled (they could have fixed some tiny tiny things no big ones). It would still have atleast kept the game alive for a long time. And enough for them to keep working on the other campaigns instead of starving the playerbase to death. And it also would have made Classic more money and the game more yt coverage. But no that ain't happening at all. And will never either. The main problem I see with the Centaura and Dead ahead team is that it is so poorly managed. And has unfortunately struggled with it for a while now. I think it would have been better off if there were more people up on top who could have more of a say and care more about the development and marginals than it just all being in the hands of classic. I hope that he will actually learn from his mistakes when he realizes that people arent that happy when you stab them in the back all of a sudden and then leave you. Sorry I just had to get this out.

I'm a builder and I think classic is right. The town hall and park is out of place with the tall buildings in the back Ground (like you see in the distance) And the side roads don't lead anywhere. And yes he couldn've added she'll craters or rubble, but Classic wants his commity to get immersed in a city or a field with mass death and destruction. I understand classic's you know, his idea to remake tanlona for the 3rd fuckin time, but I don't think he would remake EVERYTHING, but making roads which make sense for a city. But no I don't think classic is going to waste like 5 more months of his life for all of the buildings, cars, craters, bar, tree, sand bag and tanks since he thought that it didn't look nice. But still the pain, of not even seeing tanlona's destruction makes me broken..

Why wouldn't I? A Game dev is using his builders almost like jokes, not using what they come up with, for what? To redo all of it himself?
The more and more I watch this video the more I want to get fired up, you can’t just passive aggressively attack Scot because of *his own decision*, remember Talona wasn’t being worked on every single day, sure that does t discount the work put in (I do wish the poster designers get placed in the map again) but you’re being ridiculous. I won’t make another comment if I don’t find something worse than this horrid take
One, Scotlad did nothing wrong, I'm not attacking him, he's fine, everyone who worked on Talona is fine.
Two, Whenever you ignore your devs, and they get to the point of being done with a map, and you proceed to say, "Trash, let me cook, I'll make a new one." That is a shitty thing to say.
@@GeneralDelta072 You say Scotlad is find but you say that he doesn’t have to listen to classic as if he was his overlord and Scot was a pawn. Scot made his decision that he was comfortable with Classics choice. You more or less use him as another way to attack Classic, at the end of the day, all of this falls down to opinion, over how a city looks like in a video game, I’ll wait for it to be finished and I won’t get upset

@@GeneralDelta072 There is not much I can say here that doesn’t have an opinion I can’t really argue for, like I could say that “I actually didn’t like the Talona town hall based off my own city and other North American city’s it was out of place” or “The only city’s that are vertical are ones that hug a highway” but it wouldn’t matter, I draw the line at attacking scot

8 month working process and multiple stages, then got reworked again although it's finished, because Classic/GK doesn't like the map layout and it's would be polished but he want to reworked it COMPLETELY instead polished the existing layouts I think people have right to be mad
