The fun part about the labyrinths is how what you see on your map is exactly what the labyrinth looks like ... _from the air;_ it doesn't spoil the ground-level passages you need to find to actually solve the maze.
Here's a couple tips for the game: You'll want to upgrade your armor at the fairy fountains because you can get WAY more defense, especially the Champion's tunic The barbarian armor set gives you an attack buff, and also crazy defense once you upgrade it Also please just cook some food quin
@@QuinBoBin You don’t actually have to do any of that! I completed the entire map and got a hefty number of shrines on my (blind) first playthrough, and I never upgraded anything. Any special effects you can get from food/elixirs can also be gained through armor (or by gitting gud). This game is really flexible with how you play it! :)
The Lynel are peaceful in the sense that they won't attack you if you don't mess with them. However, messing with them doesn't include just attacking them. It also includes staring at them for a certain amount of time, getting too close to them, and being in their territory for too long. Also, if you didn't know, Lightning won't strike you if metal weapons aren't in your hands or on your back.
It's funny that I never noticed the Lynels will leave you alone until you pull out a weapon (except for the one above Zora village, probably because he's sick of the Zora trying to steal his shock arrows)
Theres a side quest where you can get your own house, is called "Hylian Homeowner" and it is in Hateno Village, and in your house you can save weapons and shields.
@@QuinBoBin Going off that quest..... you'll get to build a new town called "Tarrytown". Do it for sure. Whenever you want the Hylian shield, you can get it from the castle's prison area. You must fight a Stalnox (it's the bone version of the Hinox & its eye will fall & you beat at it lol). I don't remember how/when a Hyrulian salesman moves there, but hell sell you the Hylian shield when yours breaks; but you must have obtain the shield before he'll sell it!!! SIDE NOTE - Get 13 hearts - Navigate thru the Lost Woods to reach the Master Sword. Use a torch to keep the fire embers flowing behind u, so u stay on the path & don't die. It takes some patience to navigate it, but there's a shrine to the right side of the Deku tree to use, in case you're not ready for the trials...... - Complete all 3 Master Sword Trials to fully power the sword to lvl 60 (that's if u bought the DLC). To get extra buff time for the Trials, there's a perfect Farosh (green dragon) farming method to get his loot drops (dragon scales boost effects of food buffs to 30mins). This method uses a bonfire, positioned by a cave entrance to spawn camp Farosh, in Floria Falls (near Lakeside Stable). He appears there every morning. There are online guides, but u.... relight campfire each morning, use the fire's flight boost, use bow & the quicktime slowdown to aim a bit high at Farosh. Wait for scale to fall on ground then use the fire to make the next morning come. A Flamesword or fire arrows work best for relighting the fire quick enough to do this. Sorry this is long, but thought u might be interested in this (I haven't watched ur channel before so wasn't sure). I know my geekdom has shown in full glory now lol

hey, I have another small tip for horses; directly under the tutorial place (or west from Lake Hylia) is a little area with huge trees, over there you can basically find the best horses in the game. So if you want to get another horse, you can check this place out. you do need quite a lot stamina to tame them though. Also I'm not sure, if you know yet, but horses without spots have better stats overall. oh and Linkus in woman clothing? he do be looking spicy

Hitting them after mounting them costs no durability, it doesn't hurt your weapons, so it's smart to always go for mounts. Shoot them in the face or go for parries for stuns. Loving the series Quin, keep it up.
Small tip for elemental weapons: Ice freezes smaller enemies so that the next hit does extra damage (e.g.: not Lynels 😂) Electricity stuns and makes them drop their weapons Fire burns and can also burn the surrounding grass to do extra damage
About my comment on the last Zelda video: someone reminded me that you can cook more "hearty ingredients" at once to get way more bonus hearts. Also, you can just normally cook any hearty ingredients apart from hearty lizards. These listed as insects and because of that you need to cook them with items dropped by monsters, like bokblin horn, moblin horn and stuff like that. Also, now that I know how to windbomb, I realized that you can skip so many shrines.

After a quick journey, Quin learns the art of crossdressing and picks up some boots from some dude. His lust satisfied after his visit to Gerudo Town, Quin lusts for something quite different. Bloodshed. He kills (or attempts to kill) many beasts, such as another lynel, learning there are many more than just the one on Shatterback Point. Speaking of which, he snaps a photo of the revived monster to give to a fish woman (not as enticing now that he’s seen what _else_ is out there), and earns himself some snazzy pants. With all of this excitement, Quin can’t help but slow down and get lost, both in his thoughts and in the multiple mazes he’s found across the map. He’s collected many memories - in such a short amount of time, wow - but he still can’t “get” everything. Is there some crucial knowledge he may be missing, in order to fully understand what he sees? Ah, the voices disagree. He needs not know all to get the greatest experience from this world he travels. He then bullies a horse into submission, names it Gamer, and slaps a saddle on its back. Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today!

I love watching you play this game cause normally whenever someone plays this game they avoid fighting things out of fear of losing “the good weapons” cause they break, but you just don’t care and fight everything. Also, you should get the DLC. It adds more story (that has to do with the champions) and some very useful armor, like Majora’s Mask, a headpiece that’ll make it so Bokobbles, Mobbles, and Lizals don’t attack you. Also also, if a Champion’s weapon (like Mipha’s Trident) gets broken, you can repair it if you have a Diamond.
Hey quin, after you defeat the camel divine beast you can do 4 short quests. Then linkus will get a thunder helm and be lightning proof. Hope this helps you ❤

It's by a river and you can farm staminoka fish that restore a full circle of stamina when cooked.

Random tips & Trivia for Quin: 1. Most Lynels will not attack you until you draw a weapon, so get close and take a nice selfie. But never attack them from afar with a bow, they will reply akin and their arrows hurt much more (7:52 attacked you because of the bomb rolling towards him.) 2. You can actually mount and tame skeletal horses as well as a variety of wild animals such as deers and bears. Stables won't allow you to register them though, so they'll be with you only as long as you ride them. But come on, riding a polar bear that you set on fire? 3. Don't...use Mipha's weapon. It's not special or anything (you can actually find someone that builds you copies of it), but later on you can buy your own house and put it on display on a wall. Yeah, you heard me right. 4. It doesn't seem you realized it yet, but lightnings are attracted by your metal weapons/equipment (and by Link because he's shockingly attractive. Get it?), so just unequip them and walk under the storm no problems. Or throw them at monsters and let them be zapped instead. 5. Consider investing some time getting you armors upgraded by the Great Fairies, it makes a lot of difference. Also, there's a place where you can paint them different colors. 6. In Gerudo's town, above the throne room there's Riju's room; she keeps seal plushies on her bed, they are *adorable*. But don't go in there while she's sleeping, you stinky creep. 7. The memory at 1:53 (the one with flowers and the tree), just an headsup cause it's the best memory, if i'm not mistaken. Because of...reasons. Mmmm.
oh ok since you’re going to gerudo desert I have a tip. You’ll come across a lot of electricity puzzles, and the main one that you’ll come across, including in the divine beast, is conducting electricity through metal boxes, chests, ect. But one way to kind of cheat those is to connect metal weapons, bows, and shields to it. It makes the hardest puzzle in the camel super easy and super cool. If there’s another vid before the divine beast I’ll explain it again. Oh also another tip, you can hold frost weapons to lower your temperature, and wear flame weapons to increase your temperature
Fyi, hitting lynels while on their back actually doesn't consume weapon durability! That's why you gotta save damaged and low durability weapons for lynels Edit: plus there's a lab near the northeast labyrinth with sick gear
I actually love this man, when these videos came out he got me back into zelda and encouraged me to fight lynels for the first time, and helped me learn to parry, and complete all the shrines, and he loves maze runner, I respect this man incredibly.
You know what? There's so much stuff in this game I got no idea what to really recommend. If you want you can buy a house in Hateno, which sets up a new quest in akala. Also you can enter hyrule castle any time, but for right now there's only 2 reasons to go there. One is for a memory and the other is finding the jail at the bottom for an unbreakable shield
Man, there is more one maze (don't remember where). Btw on top left corner of the map is rito village (is where the flying divine beast is) Edit: the third maze is on top middle on the map (it's a little bit for the left, because there is a big hole there. But it's in middle top👍)

I've never been able to get into the Zelda games but this one looks pretty cool. Also, I have read the Maze Runner series and the movies are absolute garbage just like every movie adaptation of those kind of books. :P
There's one more maze in the northwestern corner of the map. Also, rain makes climbing nigh-impossible. As for that sprint/whistle trick, you can use that to run up most walls too. So long as it's not TOO steep. Also on an off note, your reaction to the Goron in Gerudo Town reminded me of TheHumbleNoob.

Ok, repeating a tip but if you see lightning flashing on you, it means you have something made of metal equipped so you have to unequip it. New tip: in the in the bottom right somewhere you can see a meter that tells you when you're too cold or too hot, if it's in the cold side then you should put something on that's cold proof, and vice versa for heat

When the grass is on fire you can jump up and glide. Also, take off any metal when it’s storming and you won’t get struck by lightning.
There’s a quest where it’s assumed you get to sleep with paya. You have to complete most of the quests in kakariko village first tho.

Random tips & Trivia for Quin:
1. Most Lynels will not attack you until you draw a weapon, so get close and take a nice selfie. But never attack them from afar with a bow, they will reply akin and their arrows hurt much more (7:52 attacked you because of the bomb rolling towards him.)
2. You can actually mount and tame skeletal horses as well as a variety of wild animals such as deers and bears. Stables won't allow you to register them though, so they'll be with you only as long as you ride them. But come on, riding a polar bear that you set on fire?
3. Don't...use Mipha's weapon. It's not special or anything (you can actually find someone that builds you copies of it), but later on you can buy your own house and put it on display on a wall. Yeah, you heard me right.
4. It doesn't seem you realized it yet, but lightnings are attracted by your metal weapons/equipment (and by Link because he's shockingly attractive. Get it?), so just unequip them and walk under the storm no problems. Or throw them at monsters and let them be zapped instead.
5. Consider investing some time getting you armors upgraded by the Great Fairies, it makes a lot of difference. Also, there's a place where you can paint them different colors.
6. In Gerudo's town, above the throne room there's Riju's room; she keeps seal plushies on her bed, they are *adorable*. But don't go in there while she's sleeping, you stinky creep.
7. The memory at 1:53 (the one with flowers and the tree), just an headsup cause it's the best memory, if i'm not mistaken. Because of...reasons. Mmmm.

oh ok since you’re going to gerudo desert I have a tip. You’ll come across a lot of electricity puzzles, and the main one that you’ll come across, including in the divine beast, is conducting electricity through metal boxes, chests, ect. But one way to kind of cheat those is to connect metal weapons, bows, and shields to it. It makes the hardest puzzle in the camel super easy and super cool. If there’s another vid before the divine beast I’ll explain it again. Oh also another tip, you can hold frost weapons to lower your temperature, and wear flame weapons to increase your temperature

Fyi, hitting lynels while on their back actually doesn't consume weapon durability! That's why you gotta save damaged and low durability weapons for lynels

I actually love this man, when these videos came out he got me back into zelda and encouraged me to fight lynels for the first time, and helped me learn to parry, and complete all the shrines, and he loves maze runner, I respect this man incredibly.

If you want you can buy a house in Hateno, which sets up a new quest in akala.
Also you can enter hyrule castle any time, but for right now there's only 2 reasons to go there. One is for a memory and the other is finding the jail at the bottom for an unbreakable shield

I've never been able to get into the Zelda games but this one looks pretty cool.
Also, I have read the Maze Runner series and the movies are absolute garbage just like every movie adaptation of those kind of books. :P
yeah the movies are garbage but not all movie adaptations of books similar to maze runner are bad, case and point: hunger games
There's one more maze in the northwestern corner of the map. Also, rain makes climbing nigh-impossible. As for that sprint/whistle trick, you can use that to run up most walls too. So long as it's not TOO steep. Also on an off note, your reaction to the Goron in Gerudo Town reminded me of TheHumbleNoob.

Ok, repeating a tip but if you see lightning flashing on you, it means you have something made of metal equipped so you have to unequip it.
New tip: in the in the bottom right somewhere you can see a meter that tells you when you're too cold or too hot, if it's in the cold side then you should put something on that's cold proof, and vice versa for heat
