Love to see you guys getting it in on your land, hey buddy save that wrist, upgrade to a heavier hammer that has a wooden handle, and try holding the hammer lower toward the bottom, the hammer should Do most of the hammer not strength. I noticed a huge difference when I made the switch, an old carpenter at Home Depot suggested to me years ago. A Framing Hammer 😊
Hey, thank you for the support! You're right, I should have been learned how to hold a hammer 😄 🤣 Thanks for the tip!! 🙏 I'll try the new technique in the next video.
Sometimes it's one step forward and two steps back but as long as you keep stepping in the right direction you will get there. Awesome job on the build. 👍👏👌
I subscribe the first time I ever watched you guys. I love what you guys are doing. I am going to be planning on doing the same thing about my property. Already same state will be going to my property in the summertime this year. I’m gonna continue to watch all your videos, show support and like all your videos that you guys for everything keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for the support, it means a lot to us. Arizona is a great place to homestead. We hope that your journey is an adventure and a very fun one at that. Blessings!!
Great job, looking good. Sheathing nail off commonly 6” at seams (edges) and 10-12” in the field (center studs). For the roof sheathing it is more important so the plywood doesn’t lift during heavy winds. I usually go 6” at edges and 8” in the field on roof sheathing. Also use 8d nails so the head holds down the plywood. They get covered up with the shingles or other roofing materials.
Perfect, those are great tips. We're using seethrough poly panels for the roof, is that going to be an issue? We want natural lighting in there. So we can use plywood on the roof.
@@MiguelNMichellesRanchIf you get strong winds it may be a good idea to frame the panels (like a picture) to help secure them. Great idea for the lighting ala natural.
Yes! We're most definitely doing that. We had thought of it for the aesthetics but had no idea it would help structurally too! This is why we love it when people who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, comment! Thank you so much for bringing that up! 😊
@@MiguelNMichellesRanch if you want… I can create 2 other accounts for subs.. if you think it will help. I have 2 other devices if it gets checked by ip addresses. Happy to give a helping hand.
Thanks, but not sure that's allowed lol wouldn't want our channel to be flagged for any reason, come the time to monetize. Appreciate the support though!!! Sharing the content opn facebook groups helps tremendously too 😊
Still twice the size of most cruise ship cabin bathrooms, 'though I'll suspect their fixtures are full custom and almost impossible to source. Small can still be comfy.
Hahah you're so right! We're going to keep the fixtures very minimalistic and simple. We wouldn't want to run into issues replaying it later. For now, we're debating if we should put at least one window in it...
Thank you, we work very hard on these videos. But in some clips we are using a cellphone, some clips a go pro and some are with a nikon d3500. To eddit we are using premier pro. Very difficult at first but worth it.
I Just subscribed to the channel. I am loving the videos. I did watch them all :{. I am looking for more entertainment how often do you post videos?. Please get a rechargeable nail gun because i know you are tired of hammering all those nails.
Hey, thanks for subscribing. We havent posted in a while but we will soon. I though about getting a nailgun, but they are super pricey, might have to bite the bullet and do it. Maybe for the cabin build.
I LOve your girl, she wants it as much you, and she is as much as you for any needed help.... i know about where you are...... she is gold !!!!!!!!
