Steve Gillan must have envisioned that his composition would touch someone's heart across the world. Five months ago when I first came across Joey's channel I was attracted by one of her video titled Reflection. After listening to the song, I started scrolling through and I was captivated by this title I'll Always Go Walking With You. When I read Joey's description, my heart sank and had tears in my eyes. My beloved late sister used to go walking with me together with Yoshi. This song has touched my heart since.
Lately, my Yoshi is aging and he's walking very slowly, sometimes limping due to his weak knee. The wordings in this song sort of resonate to me and my Yoshi. I seeked Joey's permission to sing this song, and Joey granted me graciously.
Along our comments correspendance, I came across this older video of Steve's original piano track which Joey have posted 3 years ago. Steve's original version is in a higher key which is normally not my preference range. But because I wanted Steve's original version to be heard, hence I told Joey I will attempt to sing it. If you're wondering why there were some heavy breathing sound in the beginning part of the recording, thanks to my Yoshi! He was unable to sit still inside his pram so he kept breathing louder and louder and wanted to be carried. He then started to yelp so at 3.40, special appearance from my Yoshi 🐕!! I have to lift him up before he distorts my song haha! Yoshi always have this detachment syndrome when he's at a new place, he refuses to be parted from me 😅.
I have recorded another one with a different backing track produced by my friend Tnl which I will upload a week later. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

Here's the beautiful lyrics of the song which Steve Gillan has written meaningfully. There's this particular phrase at the Bridge which I find it very meaningful, it says

We always thought that miracle is something that we wish it to happen, something good came out of nowhere. Without realising, the "miracles" are the people and things around us.
