St. Pancras International is set in the heart of Central London with more underground connections than any other London station. There are four main services from the station - Eurostar, East Midlands Railway, Southeastern and ThamesLink. Kings Cross Station opens. Designed by Lewis Cubit it was built between 1851-1852 as the London Hub of the Great Northern Railway. It was constructed on the site of a smallpox hospital and took its name from a monument to King George IV which had been erected nearby but demolished in 1845.

The area known as King's Cross got its name from a statue of King George IV erected at the crossroads outside the station. The monument itself was short lived, being completed in 1836 and demolished in 1845, but the area retained the name.
How old is Kings Cross station?
London's King's Cross railway station in London opened in October 1952. It is one of the terminal stations on the UK's East Coast main line, and more than 50 million commuters use its 11 platforms each year. The station was developed in two phases and involved the construction of two railway buildings.

I love that outside architecture of St Pancras, it is so beautiful! You have shown us the inside from different entrances and I like those sculptures, the moving screens with different pictures, it almost looks like it is part of modern shopping mall.
