One of the license types required to be eligible to bid on copart is “General License “. Does this mean any business license and not necessarily auto business related license?
Hello Andrei. I am looking to buy a vehicle from Iaai and import the vehicle to Europe. The problem is that legislation in Europe does not allow to register a salvage certificate and from the research I have done I understand that I need a Certificate of title branded salvage. Are the Salvage certificate and Certificate of title branded salvage the same thing? If not how would I change the title from salvage to certificate of title. Thank you 🙏🏻

I bought a 2009 Honda Ridgeline with a salvage title for front end damage from a Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania doesn't require brokers). Won it for $2000 and spent another $650-700 or whatever in fees. Still made a bit of money on that truck, but only just barely.

I purchased from autobidmaster in December and it appears that most brokers charge same for fees. I like your videos; however why don’t you state the totals after fees? For example you show dodge chargers for $20/30k but in reality after fees it’s about $8/10k including license registration fees for California. Lastly, what makes your broker site better than the others?
you can calculate the fees yourself at each lot at our broker site. I do not provide totals - b/c my audience is global. you might be in California with highest sales tax (10%), and someone lives in 0% tax zone. And when you shop online you see the price for the car. Delivery, taxes, doc fees are always extra.
@@ihuntcardeals that makes sense, yes California does have high taxes. My comment is merely due to the fact that the fees and including state, can make the total purchase not so pleasing. Your thinking you get a deal but in the end you may not be. I will try CFW because I love your enthusiasm in your videos. As far as titles, when I bought from autobidmaster the title came from Oregon. If I buy from CFW where would the title come from if I purchase from a lot in California?

The first mistake someone makes when buying a car from Copart or IAA is thinking they have a SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL to actually win one of these auctions. Unless, of course, someone wants to pay as much for a salvaged vehicle as they would that same used, undamaged vehicle? There is obvious evidence of "Shill Bidding" in these auctions, artificially driving up the final price of these vehicles when they're sold. Why someone in Ghana would want to buy a completely totalled 2014 Toyota Tacoma is beyond my comprehension. The fact that these companies even allow International bidding is complete and utter nonsense. I need a part for my Honda. I think I'll look for it at an auction yard in Saudia Arabia, even though I live in the USA. Makes so much sense, right? Oh, and don't get me started on how Copart likes to relist, or "reassign", vehicles for sale after the live auction has ended and the highest bidder has already won the vehicle. Then, Copart will send an email to the winning bidder, and all previous bidders, saying: "We're Sorry, This Lot Has Been Reassigned and All Previous Bids Have Been Canceled. The Lot(vehicle) Will Be Reauctioned Starting At The Previous Highest Bid." Despite the fact that the vehicle was listed as a "Pure Sale" in which the vehicle gets sold to the highest bidder regardless of the final price, there is no "reserve" price to be met. Yet another way of them fucking people over when the vehicle doesn't sell for the amount they(Copart), or the insurance company, wanted. Fucking scam. Don't waste your time or money here at these auctions. You are buying someone else's problem.
