What a great story. Love the Monaro coupes. The epitome of GMH I reckon. I hope you get the front vents in so they spin when driving...my mate had a purple HQ 4 door with vents that spun in the breeze. :)
Thanks for then comment, sorry to hear about your car, I would have a sad face as well. No I'm not a body man I'm a sign writer by trade. I'm self- taught when it comes to the body work. If I seen someone doing body work who looked like they knew what they were doing I would ask them for advice and hint and tips.
I purchased it from eBay It was in 2018 , it works well It is a dual Diaphragm , I've heard good and bad about them. It's been ok so far, touch wood. it wasn't very expense, around the couple of hundred dollar mark
the vinyl roof cars had a strip on the pillar i stripped a 2 door coupe i bought as running car with a 202 and trimatic in it back in 82 for $250 drove it home
before I painted the 2 tone, I looked at buying some of the stainless trim to use on it, but they wanted between $500 and $700 each, which was too hard to justify. It's amazing what you could pick them up for, I brought an Austin 1800 for $167 and drove it home just because it was to cheap not to buy. 😅
Loving this little series . Very relatable 👍
Cheers Mathew, thanks for watching.
