I can't imagine anything better than being a Christian cowboy, buckaroo or cow puncher. Doing what you love and being close to God.

Well Hello, Quinten, The Hankes from Milam County Texas say Howdy. Its so good to see what you are doing now. You haven't changed a bit. Glad you can associate with some really good men like Mr. Moorhouse. You really were riding a beautiful grey horse when we watched the video. You are keeping it real. Joe and Abbie Hanke

Drawn to the Lord? What a great testimony! (To be) More like Christ!!! Amen and amen. Don't try church, go with Jesus. I would have never came to Christ. I hated most of His people that I knew personally, and didn't think much of Him. BUT. Yes, thank God, their is a but. People prayed for me (must have). In time, time in and time out, again and again, He proved Him self to me. Showed Him self to me. Thru the good and the bad, He has been their for me. I most certainly deserve hell more then heaven. But His grace.......... It's even good enough for you Though you don't deserve Peace (out)

The precursors of the American cowboy were the Mexicans who raised cattle in the area of present-day Texas, when it was Mexican territory, before the annexation to the United States, their lifestyle and work was inherited from Mexicans who lived in the current Texan territory .
California also had skilled men on horseback, according to Richard Henry Dana who wrote a book about that region in 1840 when it still belonged to Mexico. As described:
When they go on long journeys, they ride a horse until they tire and grab another, pull the mount and the bridle over it, and after exhausting the animal, they take a third, and so on until the end of the trip. There are no better riders like Mexicans in the world.
    THE COWBOY IS MEXICAN.

      NO.....you DON'T
If you don't own the ranch you don't have nothing except a job.....
      A JOB with
      LOW PAY
      NO BENEFITS
      NO RETIREMENT
      It's 24/7/365
      14-16 hour days
      It's LONELY
      ISOLATED
Those cows and horses come FIRST.....
Aint no one setting around a campfire at night singin cowboy songs while drinkin hot chocolate and eatin s'mores.
All you'll have is a couple of horses(AND THEY AINT TRIGGER)....they're untamed, unridden and it's up to you to break em, train em,gentle em so the man in the big house can sell them for high FIVE FIGURES to some lawyer for a tax write off......AND do NOT even THINK for one second that you gonna sed ANY of that MONEY.
All you'll end up with is a couple of horses,a worn down saddle,an old truck and maybe a dog.
When you retire, you get your last paycheck and told you gotta move so the next cowboy can have your shack. Then you move into town in a section 8 duplex and TELLyour NEIGHBORS your STORIES about BEING a "COWBOY"

Wranglin' and cowpokin' for many a year, one of the things I sure did learn was never to trust someone callin' themselves something other than there given name.
"Howdy! My name's Hat. I'm a rootin' tootin' honest'to-God cowboy"
Phonier than the day is long.

You you just took the cake when it comes to ignorant statements! You reckon you would tell Boots O'neal ,Freckles Brown, Buster Welch, some red headed feller that goes by Red or Rusty, a tall feller that goes by Slim a phony? Hundred reasons why some folks go by a moniker other than their given name.
