I like the artwork, but this whole assumption that the Portuguese ''INVADED'' India is misplaced. They established trading posts in the SW Coast of India, in South India, but never established themselves in INDIA proper. The Mughals dealt with them decisively.
ALSO India was not a country only about spices exports. It was a major manufacturing hub with ''KHARKANA'S'''....exporting a wide variety of manufactured goods.
