    Well, I'm Swiss and I've been to Sweden a few years ago. I remember that one of the first signs I saw in Stockholm airport was a huge map of Switzerland (!) with the words "Welcome to Sweden" written on it 😅 It was obviously a kind of Swiss-Swedish inside joke as we keep being mistaken for one another by some countries. It made me feel at home straight away ^_^

  • @589steven
    @589steven 2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

    I have lived in both countries but there are there are ups and downs with Sweden and Switzerland. Switzerland has better weather during the winter if you live in a lower elevation but depends where as some areas are basically snow free like around Lake Como or certain areas around Lake Geneva. Also the daylight hours are longer. The downside it's so expensive there, you can buy a ham a cheese baguette from a cafe (tourist area)for the price of a decent lunch in Stockholm and still have change left over. As for Sweden it's just the darkness of winter that bothers me and the plus side people are Friendly and basically everyone can speak English.

    Switzerland is located in the heart of Europe and can drive to different countries during weekends and enjoy life!
    Th climate is friendly in Switzerland and daylight is not short like Sweden in winter! I think everything is so expensive in Sweden based on what you earn and darkness in winter is depressing. there is no summer in Sweden! I call seasons autumn and winter! I live in Sweden and I would honestly not want to move. It's great here, everything you can get in Switzerland you can get here as well. sweden also really isn't unsafe, it's just the big cities, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö and their outskirts that are scary. If you go to the north or just the countryside you'll definitely be safe.

      On a business trip I got to know a black working girl in a roof top bar in Stockholm. My Swedish colleagues behaved like she had the plague. I later fucked her. I am from the other country that starts with Sw.

    Switzerland has no Capital city

      This is not totaly true. Bern is de facto the capital city of Switzerland (as a "federal city" which is hosting the parlemant, the governemant and foreign ambassies), even if it is not writen in the constitution that Bern is the capital city, it is wrong to consider that Switzerland has no capital city !

      @@jphd81 Stands to reason what constitutes as a capital city, I suppose. Bern surely isn't the economic, humanitarian or even cultural capital of Switzerland, the parliament just happens to based there.
      Doesn't make Bern more of a capital city than Zürich, Geneva or Basel or to complement your immaculate phrase: It's wrong to assume that Switzerland has no capital or just one.
