    I used to be the biggest Austin Eckler fan... until one game, one moment - he refused to motion when Justin asked him to... twice. at a PIVOTAL moment in the game. Then he proceeded to bad mouth him behind the scenes and in public too. Not a great look. Enjoy Washington. And Chris Harris? He owes the Chargers a refund. Do you know how many fourth quarter clutch throws he made? Please. His offensive line has been one thing consistently. OFFENSIVE. They almost got him killed. Broke his ribs and all his fingers. Please, CH. You couldn't cover a third grade textbook.

      THANK YOU! F Austin Ekeler, dude gets stuffed more than a Thanksgiving turkey 🦃! I was done with him after the Green Bay fiasco! He wouldn't even change his damn cleats after he kept falling all over the place, dropped crucial 3rd down passes, and fumbled at the two, giving GB the ball! , then, AFTER yet another 3 point loss, in which Herbert threw for 260 , 2 tds and rushed for 73 yards to lead the team in passing, rushing and scoringlol( shoulda been 4, but Allen dropped 2) , Ekeler calls out Herbert and QJ, a struggling rookie who just had a devastating drop,saying" People need to play better, Justin needs to play better, Quentin Johnson needs to play better..then later he tacked on , and" I need to stopbc dropping passes" yeah ok Ekeler! Not to mention, he was all over social media crying about $$ while playing like garbage last yr! And worried about being a gamer and Mr. Inspirational instead of focusing on the team! I get that QJ was pretty rough to watch at tinlmes last yr, but you don't put a struggling rookie on blast publicly, and your QB , who isn't struggling , especially when YOUR POOR play and in the very same game even! I'm glad he's gone!

    Not clutch!?!?!?! He must not have seen that Raider game, I think it was 2 seasons ago on SNF or TNF, where Herbert made 3 or 4 4th down conversions on his way to throwing a TD. Cris Collinsworth and Al Michaels were just incredulous at what was transpiring on the field, and for good reason; Herbert was unstoppable during that drive. So don't talk to me about him not being "cliutch". Get a clue..... BOLT UP! ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡

    I'LL [ ADD ] even MORE stats onto , WHY , Herbert has a 30 - 32 career record ! In his 1st [ 2 ] season in the NFL , his kickers missed / block 18 & 13 kicks [ 31 ] total , some of these were just EP tries ? By far the WORST in the NFL in those 2 years & it's NOT even close ! So , just how many lost games come form that alone ? He UNLIKE the OTHER young guns, has had ONLY [ 3 ] career 1, 000 + yarders to play with , NONE has ever, been a RB ! Burrow , Hurts & Tua have had 3 in just 1 season , Most have all most double what Herbert has HAD for his career ! QB VRS QB , we hear all the time ? BUT, they will NEVER bring up , just these 2 facts ? PS 4 OC & 3 HC in his 1st 5 years , you , THINK , that helps him out any ? Defense , we COULD talk , YEARS on that point ? Dreams of a RANKED NO # 20 defense in his career .

    You know what "clutch"? With less than a minute to go, in the fourth quarter, and the Chargers about to win the game. CHRIS HARRIS JR gives the raiders a 40 yard pass inference call, to help the raiders win the game. THATS CLUTCH!🤣

    @Michael Maclane Great video! Justin is most definitely aclutch, and the team and decision making by ownership/management, until this yr, has been awful! Staley constantly putting players in terrible positions ( mentally as well as physically) was ridiculous on almost a Chris Farley level, not to mention his scapegoat bs of stuff like firing Shane Day!!! Also Ekeler bc a damn distraction and at times, downright disrespectful, calling out Herbert!! Seriously? And after the GB game of all times!'Chris Harris shouldn't be saying ANYTHING! And F Kay Adams too! She claims to be thiz big Chargers supporter yet was basically talkin' 💩 💩 with these questions! She should've asked Harris why tf he pulled that Raiders player to the ground and eventhough it was a god awful call, gave the Raiders the ball at the 1 right after we took the lead! , Justin is a cannon period! Simple as that!

    This team is about to start blowing teams out consistently. We've got harbaugh's genius. Roman's run game, and herbert's ability to truly control a game in clutch moments as well as a dominant O line and a reliable defense to complement all of that...the rest of the NFL is in for a rough time. And Mahomes is gonna be forced to see it when he believes it😂😂

    It's a TEAM sport, yet the So-called experts still give the QB all the credit (See Eli Manning SB MVP) or all the blame ("He can't win the big one"). You can have the best QBs in the league and still not get there if the rest of the team has holes (See Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Philip Rivers, +++).
    One thing I don't think anyone seems to be getting. Air Coryell took advantage of defenses being made to stop the "3-yards and a cloud of dust" style football played at that time. #00 yard passing games were rare, now they are the norm, 4000 yard passing seasons were a ridiculous milestone, now they are fairly regular. In 1973, when the Dolphins went undefeated, they had a grand total of 8 completions out of 11 attempts, 1 Int. and 2 sacks for 88 total passing yards. Obviously, things have changed. Air Coryell Filled the seats and the NFL Took note and made rule changes to have more high-scoring games. The 9-3 games were stale and boring. The 42-41 games were exciting.
    So now here we are, and the NFL is all about passing. The RB position has been devalued to where hardly is a RB taken in round 1 let alone top 10. There are no Walter Payton's, Berry Sanders, etc. Obviously, there are still great RBs, but they don't get the opportunities they used to and have become more of a safety valve receiver (Ekler) then a true (between the tackles) RB. The league's teams are all build to stop the pass, and now the Chargers who made it that way, are turning back the clock. Defenses aren't set up to stop the run nearly as much anymore. ILB is getting devalued, while CB and Safety has gone up in value.
    So, while the whole world gives the QB all the credit, the Chargers are leaning more towards the traditional "3-yards and a cloud of dust". Not that they won't throw it, but they will use the run to set up the throw, instead of the other way around and defenses will be on their heels prepared to stop the serious threat of a run when the ball goes over their heads.
    Sorry, if that was a tangent - but I had this rant building for a while. :P

      Ok, 1st of all Bob Griese Missed MOST of that 1973 season for the Dolphins and Earl Morrel , 1 of the best back up QB"S of his time , see Unitas season, also played most of that year . 2nk , even though Fouts defense did suck . They COULD get sacks & turn overs late in many games , to help out a little ? This team couldn't catch a cold [PICKS ] on the defense at all ! They make a lot of fumbles, but, we are around only 50 % getting those back for the team .

    @Ali-wi8bx 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Herbo has the most 4th quarter comebacks but also has the most 4th quarter interceptions, and of course people only look at the interceptions. Of course those interceptions are gonna add up because of the amount of clutch situations he's been put into with horrible coaching, lack of experience as a young QB, and also a defense that he can't trust making him feel like he has to force things. The fact that he has that many comebacks despite all this and also the fact that he's always banged up and forced to carry every single game should be impressive on its own.

    • @cjcurtis8944
      @cjcurtis8944 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    This kind of Herbert hate talk has been growing last couple years and will not stop until Chargers get playoff wins. We Chargers fans dont likeit and we know Herb has been clutch. But it is true, that the great QB's sometimes just take over games when their team is struggling and find a way to win. Herb did that at times earlier in his career but somehow has gotten away from that last couple seasons. Also crucially, Herb has had no great QB mentor to learn from....Can u imagine if he had been in a QB room with Phil Rivers...Nope Herbert was simply thrown into the fire in like the second game of his NFL career. That is a huge disadvantage to a young rookie QB.
    Herb really needs a coach like Harbaugh to bring the hardnosed champion "attitude out of this young man that is lying just beneath the surface.
    I have no doubts Harbaugh is the right coach for Justin Herbert to take his game to that level.
    Screw the haters

  • @CalebCollins-t4b
    @CalebCollins-t4b 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Well if you watch the whole Chris Harris interview it doesn’t say Herbo is incapable of being clutch. Actually, he says he can be have it. He even says that Herbo has never had a top 5 defense or a running game to help him with the clutch factor. I feel like it is more him saying “clutch” means winning. Like if in a basketball game if Kobe hit the 3 with 3 seconds remaining, but the defense gives up a three to the other team with those remaining seconds and they win. It doesn’t mean that Kobe isn’t clutch it just means he didn’t have the support on the back end to close the game and translate it to a win.
    So, I think Herbo is honestly in the situation that if Harbaugh stays the next 5 years and everything goes to plan. Herbo maybe in the greatest of all time conversation as well. Look at these stats of Herbo and Payton manning before Payton manning got Tony Dungy as his head coach.

    NFL doesn’t want Herbert to Shine because they Pick who they want to Win… with Trany-Taylor supporting the Chiefs they wanted to make sure the Chiefs win the Super Bowl… Staley could have been put in to Make the Chargers so Bad… I don’t think No One is that Stupid in calling play calls … repeatedly having dbs over 10 yards or more in back the players they were covering… Having two years of that Predictable Conservative Egotistical Dingleberry Lombardi calling stupid plays… then Moore who became his 2nd coming… calling the same plays.. Both Offensive and Defensive Calls Sucked the past 3 years.. and didn’t ya notice when Herbert just Needed a few yards to Break one of Dan Marino’s record and Herbert was held back… and the Plain Obvious Pendejo Zebras calling Phantom Penalties… against the Chargers… There have been Players that have come out to say that the NFL is Rigged… it’s All about Profit and Greed…

  • @thecafezil
    @thecafezil 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Clearly, by almost every metric, Herbert is one of the best QB’s in the NFL. There, I declared it. But I have a critique, and it’s along the lines of what Chris Harris said.
    First, I found the chart of comeback wins very interesting. Question: what is the definition of a 4th quarter comeback win? Is it to permanently regain the lead with 5 minutes left in the game? With 10 minutes left? On the first play of the 4th quarter? For me, the ULTIMATE comeback win is to do it on the LAST POSSESSION of the game. I can think of two examples last year in which the Chargers were behind heading into the final two minutes of the game and came up empty. In week one, they trailed the Dolphins by two points with 1:35 left in the game. A FG wins. They failed to score, and if memory serves me, they never came within Dicker’s range. Later in the season, they trailed Green Bay by three points with 2:30 on the clock. Couldn’t score.
    Then there was the Titans game. Herbert, to his credit, led the team to a late 4th quarter FG to tie the game. In OT, the Chargers won the coin flip, and went three and out. Titans kicked a FG and won.
    Were these failures entirely Herbert’s fault? No. But when you’re making hundreds of millions of dollars, and you’re the leader of the offense, you have to win those types of games. At least two out of three. When you think of guys like Brady, Manning and Mahomes, and you put them in those situations, game over. You could reliably turn off your TV and go to the beach, knowing exactly what was going to happen. Better yet, the opposing team already KNEW what was going to happen.
    The stats tell me I’m wrong, but my eyes tell me a different story.

    Us old fans remeber the good old Marty days; a great coach who will give his team prepared for the big moments. RIP AJ Smith, but his ego killed such a wonderful team to watch. I wanted AJ Smith out instead of Marty and I think the Spano's family learned from their mistake, build an organization with people who are aligned in philosophy. This will be Herbert's greatest season or close to it. Highly recommend to watch some of those old charger games

    This last year Justin’s clutch factor was missing. The dolphins and the titans games both came down to the wire. There was a noticeable difference in those games vs other 2 minute moment we’ve seen from Justin in the past. You can blame the offensive scheme on that maybe but the fact is Justin’s clutch ability has slipped a bit this last year

    I remember the Raider game 3 seasons ago at the end of the season. Justin was so clutch and honestly we should’ve won that game but so many people let him down. From a dropped pass in overtime that would’ve resulted in a touchdown to Staley making the stupid decision to call a timeout. It’s hard to be clutch when everyone is against you

      I fully agree with you, but that t.o. issue is a big myth Why would the Raiders want to help their hated rival get in the playoffs? And nor only that, but a tie meant the Raiders would go to KC, and we would've played Cincinnati , lol! Staley was just stupid and the REAL fu was going for it in essentially a wild card game, from your own 18, and not only that but run THE EXACT same play , that got stuffed on 3rd down, giving the Raiders a free FG!!and we lost by 3!!Had he not done that, the throw to Mike as time ran out , would have been thr game winner!

Yeah, with even amediocre defense, Herbert would have won more games and made the playoffs. I hope Telesco sucks as bad for the raiders as he did for the chargers.
