"WINDY DAY SACALAIT"

  • Stained water conditions throughout the Bay Area and feeder canals. Sustained winds with gusts but no rain. Protected from the wind, we located clearing water and bait fish at the back ends of a few canals. Field tested several ENU prototype "New Generation" custom jigs. Right away several heavy weight Gaspergoo couldn't help themselves. Soon after, some large Redear Sunfish, Channel Catfish, Bream, Bass and of course some really nice Sacalait, all joined in the party. All was cut short because of a trolling motor issue. Concluded another fine outing in the South Louisiana swamp!! Please subscribe to the channel, leave your thumbs up or like, and share the video with your family and friends. Thanks for watching!

    Good video, glad to see y’all back at it. I’m guessing them old sacs are starting to get a little hard to catch in that area since spawn wrapped up?

    • @philturner4749
      @philturner4749 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Absolutely!! Quite a few fish seem to have moved on into early phases of post spawn behavior. Still, we have somewhat staggered spawning activity. Good points, appreciate the view and comments!!

    Whats a goo fish? Why do you throw them back?

    • @philturner4749
      @philturner4749 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great question!! Locally referred to as Gasper Goo, more generally known as the Freshwater Drum. Although some fishermen do harvest the Goo, we choose to release them back to the water. Thank you for the view and comment.
