- Farm Manager 2021 returns but this time it's the full version with all the fancy new bits, including new buildings, new animals, new crops, new training and new things for me to do wrong!
We build our farm in free play mode so we have a bit of creative freedom to build what we like. Our first approach is build some greenhouses and we're amazed by the new mechanisms in the game that help with cultivating the soil and ordering the seedlings. We try to do things all nice and organically too, because whilst it's a bit more effort it also pays better in the long run.
Staff are hired and our greenhouses are looking busy, so we branch out into honey! That's right, the Farm Manager 2018 cash-cow returns as we make lots of lovely honey.
We do a few little bits of training here and there to both bring the bills down a tiny bit and also make our employees a little more hard-working.
Then we branch out into a whole new area of farming that we've never seen before, and it's all a bit... wet...

In Farm Manager 2021 you will find even more plant species to grow. Now also organic ones! Grow celery, carrots, currants, gooseberries, onions and more. Observe plant growth. The new mechanics allow automatic field management using available employees and machines.
Enjoy a variety of machines that you can use when working in the field. Buy and sell them on the stock market. Look for bargains among used machines.
In Farm Manager 2021 you will find bees, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and cows. For the first time, you will be able to set up a fish farm, ostrich, wild boar and quail farm.
Logistics center, mechanic’s garage, veterinary center and much more! The logistics center will allow you to transport larger quantities of resources and products easier and faster. In the mechanic’s garage, they will take care of your agricultural machinery. Employees from the veterinary center will ensure the health of your farm animals.
Prepare fields in spring, care for plants in summer, harvest crops in autumn and grow plants in greenhouses in winter. The weather can be dangerous for your farm. Heavy rain and hail may affect crop harvesting, and a thunderstorm can cause a fire that will damage your farm.
A satisfied employee is a good employee! Hire permanent and seasonal employees. Keep employees satisfied, control payroll and overtime. Increase their qualifications through trainings. Remember that everyone deserves a rest. Angry employees can leave at any time, so it’s really worth taking care of them.

It's back! I woke up this morning all excited, ready to buy it, and realised that I have a wait a full day more. Farm Manager is the game that got me hooked on this channel. I'm so happy to see it again!

Organic honey is easy (in the U.S. anyway). First, buy up all your neighbors land in a 2 mile radius. Then, apply for organic certification on those ~2500 acres. Wait 3 years while filling out detailed forms on all the inputs you've used on your land in that time. Boom, organic honey.
I find it odd there's a freeway running through the yard, now you FREEEEEEEEEEEEE free farming.
In the old version, we would "release" a worker from their current job in order to give them a new job, IIRC. I also remember it being a very finicky process.

Honestly I would have preferred the campaign but its cool to see that this game is finally released.
I did have a look at the campaign, it was a bit stop-start. Lots of "now click on this to repair a tractor." and "spend 50,000 on a new shed", it was a little too guided and felt like we had no freedom over what we wanted for our farm.

On the hire button at the top of there was a few tabs. one said staff list. I think that is where you would reassign people.
Isn't all honey organic? I can't figure out what would make it otherwise, maybe plastic flowers?
I believe organic means there were no pesticides used within a certain mile radius of the bee hives.
Loved your Farm Manager 2018 series. Believe those were the videos that directed me to your channel. Very excited for the Farm Manager 2021 series. Can't wait for the animals farms and the enormous factories!
I hate to mention this bc I don’t want to backseat play, but I think once you put down the poles, you can add the transformers poles on the poles that are already in place..hope that makes sense...
You you can upgrade low lovel poles to transformers by clicking the regular pole with a transformer in your cursor?

My first question is can the farm house be moved to the left a bit so that the electricity pole is off the road.
I don't think we can move the farm house. It's a fixed thing!

As a farmer myself, that Freeway running through your farm really bothers me.
All your employees look like they have walked straight out of a twilight novel... I enjoyed a lot of this except for that they need some diversity in there lol
My only thing would be the fear of selling the all the fish in the pond, since the game won't differentiate between the fish I bought and it's production or excedent. Also, I'm sure you're aware monthly food needs for the fisheries is under food quality, it's 150kg per month.

I wonder if you just focused on selling fish only. Have like 20 fish farms and grow all the food they need. That might make a lot of money or it could bring the value down since you are flooding the market with fish. Not sure how in depth the game mechanics are.
heyyyyy :D is there a way to change sprayers pesticide type for field (from standard to bio)? bio has better price :D
I don't think there is a way to specifically change it. I think as long as you have bio-stuff in the field then they make everything suitable for bio-crops!
@@TheGeekCupboard I figured it out, on seed selection tab in top left corner there is BIO check box.It doesn't matter if you have bio stuff in warehouses game treats bio seeds or regular seeds as different entities, so if you have BIO stuf and palnt regular seeds game will just buy regular stuff. With bio stuff prices are better :D definitely thumbs up for the video :D

what this game is about? is it similar to Story of seasons (harvest moon)? can you marry and have children? what is the goal of this game? i really wanna buy it.
It's a farm tycoon game, so you're up 'in the sky' looking down on the farm, placing fields, employing workers. You don't play a character like in Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley or whatever, it's a classic tycoon game but on a farm. The goal is to make money and build a gigantic farm I suppose!

Mildly disappointed you're not allowed to store tons of manure in your garage anymore, but maybe it's for the best.
The power mechanic should definitely not have made it into the game.
I suppose it makes sense though. You've got to power up certain things! We'll get used to it eventually.
