fairly sure i asked you about stripping plastic models, if not, I thought about it! None the less, thanks for your answer. I have been re-painting my old LOTR models from 15 - 20 years ago and stripping them back has been horrendous. I've tried many different methods from dish soap, through to ultra sonic. The best method ive found, as you mentioned is iso. I let them soak for a few days and scrub with a tooth brush (they dont melt, ive left them soak for over a month as well). It works a treat. the trick is to keep the model wet with iso while you scrub, once it dries the paint tends to "re-stick" in a way. Metal models the same works but acetone does work too. I have also tried iso in an ultra sonic, this does work a little bit but only on metal models. great for some of the nooks and crannies but definetly not a general solution you can just throw in and pull out a clean model.
Thank you for your videos, they have been incredibly valuable and comprehensive in getting through my models.
