Mania IX is one of my favorite Manias of all time. It took a YEAR and 4 order attempts before I finally got this from Amazon. I didn't even believe I'd get it until I took it out of the box and held it in my hands. Now he's displayed in my New Gen ring black eye and all. I'd love to get an Ultimate based on the Yoko "match" as well with the long red tights and red shirt.
Got mine in yesterday. Awesome figure BROTHER! I've been fortunate to get the Defining Moments Hogan (One of my very first figures to collect), Ultimate Edition Hollywood Hogan, and now the Ultimate Edition WM9 Hogan.

Agree with you boss, the black is the only thing slightly accurate on this figure, Wrestlemania 9 he wore long tights and he never took his bandana in that “match”. Cmon mattel! Smh

My pre-order for this figure is still saying that it’s scheduled to arrive in August of 2022. I’m surprised to see so many people getting these. Assuming mine doesn’t get moved up it’s gonna be a long wait.

The only issue I see with making him an 80’s Hogan would be the wristbands. They’re inaccurate to that era and Mattel didn’t paint the white wrist tape underneath.
Kyle you think a rocky and thunderlips could come out. I know there are some rocky figures out there I just don't remember the company that's making them

Pretty sure that is not the WM IX gear, I believe he had long red tights on with cowboy style boots... I thinks that's what fans/voters actually wanted.
I’m not really motivated to go after this, having an elite with this color scheme and then an ultimate that’s basically exactly the same but with the nwo theme. I could see a huge hogan fan going after it. At least with the rock they were totally different figures.

There're better bandanas and shirts the hulkster wore the should've made those. You don't have to be a bandana connoisseur you just know what you like.

The problem with both hogan's in the UE line is the butterfly joints are pegged too deep in the cavity of the chest. Which also hinders the ROM.
I'd love to see a Dark side Hogan figure from Halloween havoc 1995. Complete with shaved off mustache

Since it’s based on WM9 the black eye is the most accurate to that particular figure. The urban legend is that Macho gave it to him that day.
