    I planned an egypt vacation with a friend about 10 years ago. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am we went to Barbados instead. Now I'm thinking I wouldn't go to egypt if somebody else paid for it

      Visiting Egypt was a dream of mine because of the historical significance. I'm glad I did it, but I will probably not be returning.

    I’ve heard modern Egypt likened to the movie _Idiocracy._ Organized religion must be thriving over there.

    Really enjoyed your Dahab and Cairo vlogs, but maybe this one is a bit misleading. Literally looks like a property in the middle of nowhere. I've been to Hurghada around 4 times and it looks nothing like this. I wish you've had a better experience since the Red Sea has some absolutely beautiful places (unlike many places in Cairo) but after this experience you're probably traumatized already haha. Visiting Egypt definitely needs a TON of planning, and probably spending more than you usually would so you don't end up in shitty places.

    • @GringoNation
      @GringoNation  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yah, this was a bizarre experience and I'm sure it's better in other parts of Hurghada but this is the experience I had unfortunately. Although I must say the resort vibe isn't really for me, so maybe going to Hurghada was a mistake anyways. I don't think you need to spend more than usual in Egypt but we made a mistake booking that Airbnb since it barely had any reviews and was in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for watching and leaving a level-headed comment. Cheers!

      @@GringoNation Totally understandable. Hurghada is definitely for the resort type traveller. Makes sense why you enjoyed Dahab. Looking for a chill Airbnb in Hurghada is like looking for the best Italian food in Vietnam. You’ll always get disappointed vs. trying the local experience. Def won’t recommend Hurghada, El Gouna, or Sharm for adventurers. Cheers bro.

      I spent 1 week there last month and I stayed at titanic beach hotel it was horrendous . No way can you call these hotels 5* . The food was horrible and drinks made me feel sick. I also booked tours with a company called sun international tours and during snorkeling I was robbed, £3,000 taken from my wallet the only time I left my bag unattended all week .

    I realised that from the maadi video instantly, you guys are on a budget and haven't done any research about egypt whatsoever, there's alcohol all over egypt like they legit have liquor stores and you passed through one just on your maadi vlog next to the school lol when you said egypt has no alcohol on the Dahab vlog, the place you went to aka hurghada that isn't even hurghada , that's a ghost town in between the real hurghada and Elgouna, there's cities in Egypt that are acc as developed as Dubai with super cars, yachts, clubs, bars, beaches and many more and I'm from Dubai myself but y'all decide to just go for the on budget stuff and not willing to spend the buck, come back when y'all on a higher budget and hit me up when if you did ahaha i currently live in Cairo and in a VERY developed area that almost looks like Dubai which is called 5A by waterway so maybe step up your pockets then come back again

      Wow, you watched a lot of my videos. Cheers! You're right. I went to a sh*t ghost town and it was terrible so I made a video about it. Is that ok? I don't care if it's better somewhere else. I made a video about MY EXPERIENCE in THIS PLACE. Also... I don't care about cars, yachts or clubs. Just having running water is enough for me. And I didn't have that. Hence, the video. Surely you understand.
