not necessarily 1. the FF community drafts based on the previous year way too much; 2. betting on a 28 year old RB, even a great one on a very good team, to repeat the usage/volume/production/health he had last year is not exactly something i'm excited to do

I don’t like that idea the entire argument for CMC is injury, that can be said about anybody in the league… so if he isn’t hurt he is the RB1?
Not really. CMC is a bad pick at 1 imo.
Jacobs faced an average of 7.2 men in the box last year. There's no way he sees that with that GB passing offense.

I say Jacobs finishes in top 5 and like his adp a lot.
Brown's take that people aren't listening to the coaches seems cherry picked. Like sure, Lloyd should see work in the passing game, but so should Jacobs. In one of his interviews part of the reason he came to green bay is because he wanted to be used more as a receiver and the coaches like the way he catches the ball.
Also on Lloyd the 2 knocks on his game are pass protection and he had a major fumbling problem in college. Those are things that can be fixed, but if they become issues again during the season he's not going to be on the field. I'm drafting both these guys with how late you can get Lloyd for a handcuff.
Jacobs won't get nearly as many carries as he did in Vegas, but I fully believe he's going to be more efficient with the touches he gets because of better OL play, the offense will get more opportunities in the red zone, and he's going to catch the ball more.

@@williegrowit6181 Noo not in the NFC North. But if he stays healthy he's the workhorse. It feels like a 6-13. But He has no competition it's not even a question in my mind after the tape so it's definitely a safe pick to get the lead back. Maybe a year or 2 Lloyd gets some play but not now.

@@sJ-ls8pw They’re not saying these RBs aren’t draftable. They’re saying they don’t expect them to perform at a level that justifies where they’re being drafted. Sometimes that means you don’t get them, but not always. I know the title says RBs to run from, but you know how TH-cam works.

Conner was solid last year. Tbh, none of this is gospel, but it's all about Value. I probably wouldn't take Kyren in the 1st round. But If he fell to the 3rd or 4th that would be good value. It's all relative. I got Conner in the 7th Round, Mostert I. The 8th last year. So Conner missing his usual 4 games wasn't bad because I loaded up on other backs. And Mostert was a surprise. It just depends on where you draft guys.

I'll take Conner over kyren because I'm not drafting kyren if he's going in the first 3rds. He's never had a fully healthy season. I'm off. Even in the 4th it's players I'll rather have over em.

Mostert: I think Jaylen Wright fits that offense perfectly. It won't happen out of the gate, but he is a back to own long term. While I was typing this Achane probably broke a rib drinking a 7-up.

In a 10 team redraft 1/2 pt. PPR, is it better to go zero RB or hero RB? Or does it depend on draft position? BTW, CMC is going 1st in every mock draft I have done thus far.

@@Camry23 Hero in 2WR is what I'd rather do. It's much easier to find 2-3 starting WR than it is 3-4 in 3WR format. But hero doesn't mean you need that person to be a first round pick. You could hypothetically start AJB / Derrick Henry if you have a late round pick which would be better than Kyren / Davante Adams for example
I turned this off after CMC because when you just list a RB with over 400 touches the year before and then the finish the following season without even giving names you don't give any context to who it was or why so here it is. Demarco Murray who changed teams and systems. Chris Johnson who still ended up being the rb 5 the next year but because he didn't have over 2k rushing yards again he wasn't the rb 1. Leveon bell who sat out the following year. Then cmc who got hurt the following year got injured in the 3rd game but through the first two games was rb 3 and through 3 weeks was the rb 10 without finishing game 3.
if you have watched all their episodes they have put down almost every starting rb. So its basically grab everyones handcuff and pray the starter gets hurt. If they don't then you are screwed and getting like 8 to 10pts.
They talk fantasy football for 4 month before the season , they are going to talk about every player 10 times over, and they flip flop more than a politician

I'm in a 12-man PPR Redraft League (basically). We do get keep our 1st round pick this year and next... then you have to throw him back... I have the 1st pick... who do I draft?

Ceedee Lamb or Bijan, depending on what position you prefer to fade. So much volume for both of them.
Don't forget the Madden curse. Also, if Dallas doesn't pay ceedee. Ceedee said he not playing. I have taken Chase and Robinson at 1 just try something different.
But Zach moss had really good games when he stepped in for JT

Elliot finished strong last season and now the Cowboys want him back. They let him go when he was expensive but picking him up now when he is way cheaper and they know how to use him. They had trouble punching it in. Pollard wasn't good at red zone. So I think they plan to use him. Mostert is WAY low on the draft boards so he is a deal! Best offense in the league and don't get it twisted. Achane is not the leader. He is still learning from Mostert. Moster is probably the best value pick in the league this season

If CMC is on the board when I'm picking, I take him. The guy is an elite WR and an elite RB all in one, and he scores like it. Kyren is a better fade i think. Remember Cam Akers? Yeah that role can change in a hurry on the Rams. I understand the Chubb fade, but I'm still betting on him this late. Medical science has come a long way with knees, and Chubb is only 28, coming off 6 yards per carry last year....rehab videos from last week look pretty great to me.
agree. The NFL is like a play at this point. Chubb will def comeback and play well by the end of the season. CMC #23 // MJ #23. I'm taking CMC everytime as well.

I mean a lot of the RB's they brought up are just unserious picks imo. Like none of those picks are saying "i'm drafting this player because I'm trying to win". With the exception of cmc and williams, I think those two have value but where they're going its just not worth it because of the likelihood of them actually being worth that pick. But I can't draft guys like kamara, swift, and ekeler with a serious face.

I think it is hilarious so many people are taking Lamb over McCaffrey. First, Dallas seems to be most dysfunctional team in the NFL right now. No one is signed. Offense line is worse. No run game to respect at all this year with losing Pollard. No other weapons. Lots of film now of Lamb in this offense (which was new last year). I expect defenses to focus on Lamb and double him extensively. McCaffrey gets to play Arizona twice which is like 40 fantasy points in the bank. He is in a high powered offense with no ability to focus on him completely. He will get a bunch of targets plus 15-20 carries a game. And of course .... Dude. Is . Different. love it when he falls to #2.
You're argument for lamb is the reason to draft him. He IS the offense. I mean you can't go wrong w CMC either but who else is dallas gonna pass it to. Ferguson will be great but not like he's gonna have 100 targets. Only reason not to draft lamb is if he's holding out.

agree pretty much with everything...but Jacobs...Lloyd was drafted as the future not now, sure he is going to come in a bit, Dillon was kept because he cost like 1% or less of cap space...Jacobs threw in towel last year, he will be very fresh and very motivated and Pack are going for broke now and it will be one of best offenses...so fade jacobs a little, but he will score a lot...he will finish in top 10 easily with upside for better
Packers haven’t committed to one back in a very long time. If Jacobs finishes as a top 10 back, it will be barely. Lloyd is very much going to play a lot. Promise.

@@brentinnes5151 he did, but he also only had Dillon to contend with, and he was a bigger threat in the passing game. Dillon just isn’t very good. Packers love Lloyd - he’s going to get a good amount of work. Jones only has 1 top 10 finish since 2020.
I’m not out on Jacobs. A top 10 finish is very much a possibility, but I’m not betting on it. Packers are going to be a pass heavy team, plus we don’t know what the backfield distribution is going to look like. I’m more comfortable betting on a top 15 finish at the position.

It will be this season, promise. CMC has too many things working against him. Take the hints and pass on him. No running back since Priest Holmes has repeated as the top scorer, and he is 28 years old with far too much mileage. There is a higher possibility that he doesn’t even finish top 5 than there is of him repeating. Been playing over 20 years. CMC has a lot of red flags. Don’t do it.

I have been going Zero WR this year so far.
I land Lamar, Hall, Barkley, and LaPorta in many, then I have Godwin, McClaurin, and Pickens at WR.
Getting 3 WR’s that will finish between WR18-32 most weeks is amazing, its the same premise when we went zero RB. There used to be 25 RB’s we could count on, so you could wait a bit. Now there is like 8 of them, and when you pass, you are praying for production or a role increase.

Remember, last year ALL fantasy analysts were saying to draft patrick 1st overall 😂😂 and look how that turned out. 🤦♂️ a rb ended up to be first overall and Patrick was not even top ten. This means that regression happens yearly and is more likely to happen to each player. these projections don’t mean squat.
