These are the most beautiful books I own, with 2 folio society books, some special editions and boxed sets. Hope you enjoy the asmr book tapping and scratching along with the whispering as I take you though them. They make me so happy and I hope it conveys in the video!
This video is also a little bit of a birthday haul as I got a few of these as gifts for my bday recently :)

I personally read Six of Crows without having read the Shadow and Bone trilogy. Yes, there are parts that confused me but you’ll definitely manage! The Six of Crows duology is one of my absolute favorites - I hope you enjoy them 🥰

Gorgeous books! I would recommend reading the Shadow & Bone etc series in this order; Shadow & Bone, Siege & Storm, Ruin & Rising, Six of Crows, Crooked Kingdom, King of Scars, Rule of Wolves 🤍

Late to the party but Shadow & Bone came out first and it was where I got familiar with Leigh Bardugo so I appreciate that about it. Plus, I love many of the characters. I think the whole Grishaverse is worth the time. So I'd definitely read Shadow & Bone ... especially if you follow up the Six of Crows duology with King of Scars.

Hey! I read the six of crows and crooked kingdom a while ago. And I never read shadow and bone beforehand. But I did have to research some things on the Internet while reading although I can't tell you if what i had to research was explained in shadow and bone. Anyway both books are now one of my favorites so i can't complain. (And thank you so so much for helping me relax a bit :)

I agree that Shadow and Bone isn't as good but I'd really recommend reading them first, it'll just make the Six of Crows experience so much enjoyable!
Yes, you can read the duology without reading S&B but you'd miss on fun references and wouldn't get the excitement of meeting some of the characters again... 🙈

I actually read six of crows first and it made me want to read shadow and bone. You definitely don’t need to read shadow and bone first, but I did really end up enjoying the shadow and bone series
That is very very helpful, makes me realise I won't be writing the shadow and bone series off by not starting with it. I somehow still havent picked these books I think because I hadn't decided yet, and this has helped me a lot, so thank you!!!

I loved the shadow and bon trilogy sobmuch i wsh i read it sooner and didn't listen to the negative opinions. You should really give it a try.
